  1. Shaft weight info AWT = Ascending Weight Technology, come in Soft Regular, Regular, Stiff, Extra Stiff. The shafts are lighter in the long irons and the weight gradually increases into the short irons. The differences in weight will give a "flighted" ball flight where the long irons will encourage a higher ball flight and short irons be lower and more control.
  2. As few said, it's too early to judge if her career is a failure. I'll put her top 3 among all LPGA players, if I bet their success in future. I thought she might be fade away from the scene, when she was really struggled last year. But she showed much more strengh than I thought she would have, and it seems she's rebounding nicely. I don't know when, but people's perception will be quickly changed to the positive way, if she wins a couple. Look at AK. It's only a couple of months ago, when he was an arrogant young funk. He came long way after a win or two.
  3. Afaik, face balanced putter. So, center weighted, at least heel-toe weighted, not heel or toe(is there any?) weighted.
  4. Thanks. I think my swing speed is kind of in between Regular and Stiff. Is it better to go low and try to swing smooth? Any advice?
  5. I'm trying to try Bridgestone GC Mid with this shaft. I know this is 106g for R and 109 for S flex. But I can't decide which flex should I get. How does this shaft compare to Dynamic gold, or the Dynalite? Or any comparable True Temper shaft? I don't know my swing speed for Iron, but my driver speed is anywhere 88 to 95. Thanks for any input.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bVosmwKfiY Found this one. First one is same video but repeated.
  7. Thanks. I'll try both. I'm trying to keep both arms close to my body on turning. It seems my head knows this, but my body betrays me when I hit the ball.;-p Another thing is that I'm trying to keep an eye on the club head pass, and it seems it goes through pretty straight line on hitting area, not inside out. I'm guessing I'm releasing my wrist cocking too early.
  8. I ran into several articles preaching right wrist break intentionally in the start of backswing. It goes the backward bending should be sustained until the impact. I never seen these any players or anyone I played with. Anyone actually doing this? I take a look at my right wrist on the top of backswing and found it's bended backward somewhat. Is it normal, or something I'm doing wrong?
  9. I'll wait until I finish(well, it should be a relative term, obviously) the swing change, if I were you. When you feel good about the change, when your body go through the swing automatically with minimal intervention from your head, pulling out the brand spanking new club fitted to your swing on your favorite course, not the range should be great. I'm kind of your boat right now. Trying to stick to OPS, using more core muscle, whole body. I played 3 rouds and hit the range ball for 11 consecutive days in a row, first time in my 1 year golfing experience. Some reason, I have no problem with my back, or any other parts, but my fingers, especially my two pinkys. I don't know why but my left pinky is hurting more. Can understand my right pinky is hurting, since I use interlocking grip, my right pinky gets stressed quite a lot, but why left pinky.
  10. Thanks for the help. When I started to learn the swing, I were taught to put my upper arm against the side of body on back swing(the top of it) and keep it that way until the impact. Well, it's not a pretty form, doesn't look like the players. I got away from it, and forgot and didn't pay attention to keep the arm close to my body. The result was a disaster for few month, till I realized what's going on. Lost 50 yards on driving and every shot was going far right. Of course there should be many other defacts involved. But the one thing must be the main reason. Now trying to keep my arm to the body as close as possible, but the bad habit is hard to beat. Read quite few of swing tips and stuff, but didn't see this point is stressed. So kind of unsure how close I should keep the arm with body, glue it or just keep close is enough.
  11. I'm having problems on my swing. Have a tendency to swing with my arm not using my upper body. I were taught I should stick my right upper arm(right hander) from elbow to shoulder with my side body on downswing until the impact. Is it right? Is there any drill for this, if it's right? Thanks.
  12. Saw one guy was hitting 3 or 5 wood on the range today. He was practicing with one of his club lying to guide his swing path. Several slow back and forth , then bam. Wow, the ball was rising over the 250 marker. With the roll, that should be easily over 300 yard. I was amazed. Never seen anyone hit the fw so far in person. I suspect the guy might be a player for ASU.
  13. I use a 2 hybrid and it's prbably 17*. It's one of my most consistent club. I replaced it for 5 wood, which I rarely used. It doesn't go as far as 5 wood, but much easier to hit for me.
  14. So, if you take a divot, does it mean positively your hand is ahead of the club head on the impact? I'm converting from full-time sweeper to taking divots, and I can't be sure whether my hand is ahead or not even if I'm taking divots.
