  1. There are some awesome videos out there of Andre Agassi playing tennis when he was a kid. Amazing.
  2. Yeah, I would like to get my hands on the MB wedges or the spin milled vokey's. Trying not to just spend money on more equipment for something to do...the G5 with the Aldila is no joke, great Driver. I hit the G10 with the stock Ping shaft stiff this weekend...whoa...face of the club seemed really hot. I love my i-5's too..great look and good balance of forgiveness and playability. Just thought your equipment upgrades were nice choices.
  3. Nice equipment switch on your signature...that looks like a good move.
  4. I have hit it, but I can't compare it to the D-1. I have only hit the D-2, I didn't like the F-5 simply because of feel and that classic Callaway hollow sound. I got fine results with the club, but it did not give me any feedback and I have it the Hi-bore XL, D-2, and G-10/ G-5 just as far.
  5. My Dad has the putter...he has a great short game and he is a pretty good putter too...but he really likes his See More and I think he is even better with it. I thought it was not the greatest purchase when he got it, but now I am down with it. I would recommend it and he would too...he is a 6-7 handicap. I have played around putting with it and I like it as well...helps you pull the putter back more evenly as well as line up.
  6. Man...some good looking irons...I think the Taylor CB Max looks pretty good as well as the Cobra CB's. Callaway Fusions and x-20's are really good looking too. I do not like that black and yellow Taylor look on the new r-7 irons. Someone mentioned the Cobra CB's....I really like the way those irons hit too. I settled on i-5 last winter...but it was between the cobra's and Pings. I really like the Pings too, so I guess I am cool with it.
  7. You can say that again...I hit my driver a long way and pretty straight too and lose to my dad and father-in law on a regular basis. My short game and putting could use some work....and I wouldn't exactly call me a "clutch player" either.
  8. Titleist 905S w/ stiff pro95 fuji
  9. Fl Golfer, I think the question that you really need to be asking yourself is this. "Am I improving to the point that I want to start and work the ball with my irons and feel is a prority...OR...do I need sweetspot and game improvement to help launch the ball high and hit more greens consistantly?" Also, I get the impression that you are a younger dude...so I would think swing speed and flexibility standpoint...you should really NOT go to a "game improvement iron" because you have the ability to get the ball airborn easily. I know exactly what you mean about the i10's and the g10s. The G10 is great for a guy 50 years old and up or someone with a declining handicap that needs forgiveness. I think the i10's have a smaller sweetspot then their older brother the i5's...please swing the Ping i5 fitted to your body. They will give you the ease of the Rap/G5/G10 irons without the heavy offset look. I swung the g5's when I was shopping...they are VERY easy to hit...I understand what you are saying. Also, please swing the new Cleveland cG4 Tour Reds or more game improvement Golds? I can not remember the number/letter combination, but the new cleveland irons with the dampining pad in the cavity is really nice, great feel and sweetspot....not as heavy offset, you will probably like how they look when you sit them down next to the ball. Finally, recommendation...keep hitting irons over and over...don't buy too quickly.
  10. How is it that everyone that tracks their handicap at their home club would be automatically registered w/ the GHIN? I am not sure if that is a perfect system for a true handicap...besides, most losers don't keep their handicap accurately the other way and sandbag. (sounds like their is no way she shot 61 @ that one course) She belongs to a nice CC from what I can remember of the ariticle...I can not believe that club members would let her get away with this or be too stupid to address her handicap and the "hole in one" in a logical manner. I can not believe that she has not be asked to leave the course, I am dead serious too. She actually bringing bad publicity to the club and making them look and their members partially responsible for these absurd claims. She has only been playing for a handful of years...I have a real hard time believing that she is a sub 10 handicap.
  11. I can not believe how many people said, One pair? If you play alot...that surprises me...I am wearing down my softspikes, find deals...got to have brown and black...new pair ever year or two. If I had just one pair, they would be trashed by the end of the year. I have five pairs that I rotate weather I am walking or riding or what I am wearing. (2) Pairs of Nike TW black airs and older all brown(needs new spikes and two pairs of socks.) 3 pairs of FJs.
  12. Anything Fujikara I have loved...not sure why. I did have a proforce 65 stiff in an old 975 D...and I could hit that club super straight and work the ball as well. Just did not have a lot of distance.
  13. I think we all replace our drivers before the face of the club would start to lose pop or go a little dead. I think I flex out my graphite shafts after two years and a lot of drivers, the shaft loosens and starts to whip. Then I get a new driver and I seem to be able to keep it in the fairway again.
  14. Never had a Polo Golf piece of clothinh that I don't like. Love FJ gortex jacket and actually all other FJ stuff...got to be FJ shoes too!
  15. I have hit the Hi-bore XL tour....and I crushed it, it had a heavy weight, tour stiff Fuji fit-on shaft. I over swing my driver and go past parallel with that club only...and I left it right on the range. I changed my set up and closed the face and corrected it, but it was not the club for me. I do like the new Hi-bore XL, 1 of the top 3 drivers out in my opinion.
