  1. Consistent distance was an issue for sure with the graphite. I understand what you mean by "clicky" and yes I have lost about 5 yards. On thing I have not figured out is the increase in 'fat' shots?
  2. On a flat hole approx. 330yards.
  3. Sure, if you like hitting yourself in the chin.
  4. Nothing but a Vizsla will do!
  5. Two equally great shots Friday! 1. Hole out a 165 yard 8-iron for eagle. 2. 187 yard par 3. Pulled my 6-iron 20 yards left, hit a tree, the ball shot right and the ball stopped 3 feet from the hole....made the putt for birdie!!
  6. I recently purchase a set of TaylorMade TP R7's with DG S300 shafts. I have played with the TM Bubble irons with the S-90 graphite shafts for 10 years. What differences can I expect in respect to the change in shaft?
  7. I buy scrap metal/ large scale recycling.
  8. I have the R7 425 (Grafaloy Tour Blue Shaft) as well. I tend to have a natural draw so I was more concerned with high or low settings. When I first took it to the driving range I played with different settings and settled on the neutral high. As for the fairway woods, I think the proper shaft is more important than moving weights.
  9. I know exactly how you feel! It has happens to everyone at some time. I am a 12 hcp and have played for 25years on and off. For the past three months I've had the shanks with my wedges and the stress is unbearable. For example i shot an 80 on Friday...95 on Saturday...97 on Sunday. The difference was shanking my lower irons. I am considering another lesson with a pro to figure out why now after years of playing golf?
  10. I grew up playing blades because that's what my father would hand down to me. I hit my first "oversized" cavity head about 15 years ago and my game got better. For the past 10 years I have played with the original Taylor Made Bubble irons. I made three attempts to move back to a blade in that time period, but always go back to my trusty TM's. This summer I made the switch to the TP R7's w/ TT S300 shafts.
  11. I have had great success with Ebay. It is absolutely crucial to check out the seller before you make a bid. Ask questions, know what you are looking at (spot fakes) and be patient. I bought my TM R7 425 with a Fujikura Tour Blue shaft for $200.00 and a full set of New TP R7's for $360.00.
