With a name like "KASH MONEY" you better start living up to the hype!
-
It seems that your anxious for som tips or instruction, I would say to focus on your weight shift - shift to your right instep on the backswing and focus on a smooth transition to outside (left) of your left foot on the follow through. Focus on balance at the finish as well.

My conclusion after skimming this thread is that Adam and Iacis have way too much time on there hands!

In my opinion neither swing looks very good. Just kidding, both look good to me

Just about ready to throw in the towel

Golf is a sport that you can practice and get worse instead of better. I'm also a long hitter, I have a fast transition at the top of my swing so generally I can just slow it down and get back on track, but this game is frustrating. Hang in there -
Titleist 910 D2 or R11 Driver
blue72ss replied to Badgers4life's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I'm also a minority, I love my R11S with the 60g stock stiff shaft. The clubhead "feels" heavier to me than any other drivers going back to my Nike square Sumo. My main joy of the R11S is the way the ball comes off the clubhead, at first I bought RBZ but didnt gain any distance and took it back the R11S and quickly found out the R11S is completely different club, not just the add'l adjustability. -

Adam can you recommend a site or a book that teaches the swing plane and club face position through impact that you've mentioned in this thread and others? -

Bubba Watson also said to release for a draw and "hold off" for a fade, in the new Golf Digest. This is why I'm having a hard time believing all these new ball flight rules. It seems that it is scientist and forum bloggers saying that the guys that are actually doing it (Bubba) are wrong. I'm not trying to bash, I'm looking for someone to convince me because it seems everyone on the forum believes the laws, however who are we to tell Bubba Watson how you hit a fade or draw? -
So do you think your swing is now steep, is that what you're implying?

$30 for brand new tour balls.
blue72ss replied to jd4vt1998's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Golf Digest stated that ALL of Nike's staffers are using them. I didnt think they had a choice if they are contracted to play a certain brand. Here in FL, United States, they are $45-$48 a dozen, the same as Pro V1's and Penta's, however the Nike's and Penta's are constantly having buy 2 get 1 free sales, essesntially knocking the price down to $30 or so per dozen. So for close to half the price, as a 7 handicapper, I have been and will continue to play Nike's. I'm kind of a power player so I usually lose at least one ball per round, maybe 2 or 3, and fortunatly my lost ball count is not definitve on how I score so I dont care, it would just get expensive playing $4 Pro V1's. Also, the Pro V1's dont seem to last for me, after 9 holes they look like they've been sitting at the bottom of a lake for 2 years. -
KEEP IN MIND: Golf may be the one sport where you can put in the time and actually get worse instead of better. Problems I've had throughout my life: 1. Practicing the wrong thing. 2. Getting a lesson, practicing what I've been taught and then over-doing it and developing a new problem. 3. Poor instructor/teacher - might help you hit balls better that paticular day but not necessarily for the long haul. I've finally seen drastic improvements in my game when I've gotten older and wiser, I read alot and disect what info pertains to me. Use video, this site is great. Use video and compare it to guys on TV, generally you can see drastic differences.

I have the R9 TP Motore Fujikura shaft for sale (65g stiff). I sold the R9 but the guy didnt want to wait until my wife got home with the extra shaft in her car, I had both the normal stiff shaft and also the TP shaft. I'd give it to you for $20 if you want it, I have pics if you want to give me your email. -
Tunable Drivers with Adjustable Face Angle ... Huh?
blue72ss replied to Golfingdad's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Its hard to rotate the grip in your hands to exactly one degree, or two degrees, because those small increments are not really noticeable to your eye. I understand you can simply slam the clubface shut, or open it wide, but you cant get the precision of a simple one or two degree change.. -
Interesting, my opinion (I'm only 30 yrs old but have read alot) as to why you wont find Bubba Watson or Natalie Gulbis clubs on the shelf is because they all learned from Nicklaus and Palmer that there is no money but alot of risk in the equipment game. Specifically Nicklaus, lost his shirt in the equipment game, lost his shirt in the golf course ownership game as well, barely survived, some of his investors were not so lucky. Nicklaus clubs could be purchased at woolworth, Palmer clubs were top of the line sold in pro-shops. Big difference there IMO

Adjustments on TaylorMade RBZ driver??

You actually said R9, that is why I made my post. This post you made it clear that the R11 and R11s are different, thank you. I still think it is absolute horse shit that they advertise and market the shit out of the adjustability of these things and then it turns out the shaft is not even marked properly. If I want to go up just 0.75 degrees from standard, and maintain the standard lie angle, I need to have the grip of the club on the ground with shaft pointed up and use one "notch" or "click" to the right of the word "lower" that is printed on the shaft. Now how in the hell would I have ever figured that out if someone didnt post that link tunetaylormade.com? And I'm still just going by the fact that I can barely make out the word "lower" in the illustration, and if history repeats itself I'm not even certain how correct or thourough taylormade was with that picture. Additionally the instruction booklet and worldwide marketing tour do not mention anything about lie angle, it focuses on loft, open/closed, and the small weights to change flight. They must have done all this marketing but not thought anyone would care to actually use the adjustability to its potential. -

This video by Taylormade golf contradicts the tunetaylormade.com link, this video (by Taylormade) says you can adjust loft in half degree increments. I dont know who to believe, Taylormade or Taylormade? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxANBwHKdfA&feature;=related -
Adjustments on TaylorMade RBZ driver??
blue72ss replied to dlance's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
For example, I dont want to go higher by the full 1.5 degree, I only want to go higher by .75 degree, this position is not marked and the only thing I have to by is that link and all I can determine is that it is one click to the right of the word "lower" on the shaft. This is pretty shoddy, because when you go lower, it is still not consistent, standard lower by .75 degree is indeed only one click to from standard. You would think they would just mark the darn shaft, most people probably dont go through all the trouble I am and probably never figure it out. -
Adjustments on TaylorMade RBZ driver??
blue72ss replied to dlance's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
This should be marked on the shaft, this is crazy. So I basically had to squint at the computer screen on this link to determine that higher 0.75 degrees is actually not just one click towards the word "higher" like I thought, it appears to be one click to the right of the word "lower". And than the full standard higher 1.5 degree is labeled on the shaft. -

I recommend getting a quality set of last years or older model new clubs. Right now one good deal I saw was the Callaway X-20's for about $300 brand new, cant go wrong with that. Taylor Made's new RBZ line is obviously expensive, but you can get great deals on the TaylorMade Burner irons now. Each manufacturer has its newest models out and of couse they are expensive, but that means you can get a deal on the previous model which alot of times are nearly identical in technology.

Adjustments on TaylorMade RBZ driver??
blue72ss replied to dlance's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I started thread with same questions. The club has eight positions, the instruction book shows 8 positions, the print on the club only has 4 positions marked. This is the first I've heard of "lie angle" changing, this is not advertised in the instruction book, and is NOT marked on the club.
