I walked off the course last time out because of two numbskulls I was playing with. I knew that I would never make it through 18 with these guys. 6-8 shots to hit the green, slow pre shot routines, not ready to play, no real knowledge of the game. I told them at one point that it's OK to be a beginner but you still have to be respectful of others. Get to your ball and be ready to hit as soon as you can. That fell on deaf ears. I think courses should have rules posted and in each cart stating what ready golf is and how they expect it to be it to be applied at this course. Many golfers don't know, know one tells them. You can teach etiquette!

Just had a six of Lagunitas Sucks and WOW! Incredible! If you're a hop head like me you gotta try it before it disappears untill next year.

Now I start out with no glove and go until my hands start feeling a bit torn up. I think playing without a glove has helped me a lot. I don't play much anymore so it's a problem with no calluses built up and humidity can be a problem but I'm liking it. Next I'm thinking of going barefoot

You can't pay to much for comfort and fit with a golf shoe. From someone who has had both feet operated on I don't care what it looks like or how much it costs, if it works for you and is more comfortable that is a good thing. Now I do believe that Nike knows how to market, so wait a year and get these for $50.

Sorry people if I offended anyone. I guess anyone could be clueless of golf etiquette regardless of ethnicity. My bad.

As a guy who has hit into groups ahead a couple, well maybe a bit more than that, times I always feel terrible and usually make the long march up to them to apologize and have never had anyone get really mad. My problems seem to come up when traveling on strange courses. Whatever the excuse apologizing goes a long way to making everyone feel better. Now I did have an oriental couple, and the only reason I bring up their nationality is because they genuinely seemed clueless about proper etiquette, drive up onto the tee box when we were hitting and then whilst walking to our balls hit their tee ball over our heads. Later they were seen driving their cart around the fringe of the green. That was one ball I wanted to hit into the woods but the double fisted salute seemed to get through to them. We did watch our backs the rest of the round...

As long as it's an IPA I'm drinking it. I keep my kegerator stocked at all times with a rotating menu of IPA's. Being on the East Coast I can't get the really fantastic ones from the West Coast in kegs but I keep trying. We have 14 microbreweries here but a great IPA is only done by one at the moment. I just love watching people walk into a brew pub and order a Bud Light when they only server their own beer. The expression is priceless, like what did you just say, that does not compute, give me a Miller Lite then, uh uh... Those aren't beers anyway.
