NM Golf

Don't get intimidated just remember there aren't enough low handicappers to keep golf alive. I play with a lot of low handicapper snobs and I remind them of that every time I take their money. 10 years ago I couldn't break 90 now I kick their butts. Keep at it. By the way how are you midwest and back east duffers doing. Little cold where you are? I am playing today without even needing a jacket.

Like I said before I am a teacher. I got into teaching for the money of course. LOL Just kiddin' but it does leave a lot of time for golf, family, and a side job at the course.

Snuck away for 9 holes Wed and shot 35. 2 birdies and a bogey. The bogey came after I tried to hook it around a tree on the par 5 first hole. Probably wouldn't have even tried that shot in competition, but what the heck I was just playing with my dad. Still hit it nice and putted decent.

I gotta agree with the comment about her Dad. He is definately something else, and it aint good. I also thought it was interesting that Butch Harmon got so irritated when she kept answering her cell phone. That just shows he is there to work not screw around. Although later on he did show a lighter side.

Hello, I just registered, and I am very happy to finally find a forum that is active and interesting to read. I am 34, from Albuquerque, New Mexico and am an avid golfer 365 days a year. I carry a 2.8 index with my strengths being my ability to drive it long and fairly straight. I struggle with the wedges a bit but am getting better every day. I am a teacher so that leaves a lot of time in the summer to play and practice. Thanks!
