  1. He, Rory, is rather impressive eh ? Ryder Cup is going to be a good one. I've not been able to root for Tiger since his, ahhh, transgressions but I'm finding myself rooting for him today on a USA v Euro level. Be nice for Tiger to deflate the Rory balloon a bit going into Medinah, sure couldn't hurt. Go Phil ! Yeah, I'm a Phil fan and it's good to see him knockin down some birds for a change.
  2. You know how those "owners" are Fourputt, it is "his" course after all. Don't you just love hitting into their footprints in the traps and fixing their ball marks before you putt ?
  3. hahaha dufner with earrings and highlights.........I used to like him well ok, I still do like his wild on course antics and insanely jovial demeanor but earrings and highlights ??? what were you thinking dude ? on bubba twitter tonight https://twitter.com/bubbawatson which reminded me of dufners new ride........youth really is wasted on the young yes I'm jealous will I get over it ? very quickly lol https://twitter.com/#!/JasonDufner/media/slideshow?url=pic.twitter.com%2FB7uDWDZl
  4. It has become very important to me, I've been hacking at the little white ball for years but never did have the time or commitment to improve my game. My son has changed all that. He is 14 soon to be 15 and starting his sophomore year in high school and 2nd year on the schools golf team. I started him out at age 8 and had trouble beating him last year, this year he is routinely kicking my butt shooting 80's. His low round is a 77 so far. He is really getting into it the past two years and I couldn't be happier. His enthusiasm is contagious and both of us now routinely practice and talk golf and are trying to learn all we can. It's been a great journey so far and I can't think of a better thing to do with my son then sharing a round with him. It's been great for him and he is turning into a mighty fine young man right before my very eyes.....and not a bad duffer either. It really is the greatest game.
  5. haha, yes, Vijay is at a disadvantage, he is about 80 isn't he, he'll need a nap inbetween rounds I was thinking more of Tiger, he's aged into an old man the past two years washed up, a has been, needs to move on to the senior tour........along with Vijay my prediction is neither will be the winner or even close come the 72nd hole.....whenever that may be
  6. not sure, I assume they would finish it Monday, doubt it would be cut short not calling for heavy wind but it still might be gusty along the beach and a 30% chance of storms again Details for Sunday, August 12 A mix of clouds and sun with the chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 87F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Evening: A few clouds. Low 73F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USSC9861
  7. resume 7:45am then round 4 is going to make for a long day, if it's windy it'll be even a longer day will fatigue factor in ? that may favor the younger players
