  1. Yes it does matter. I got custom fitted for Ping G20 irons and a Ping Karsten putter. The irons were a red dot and the putter was a white dot.
  2. When I was looking for new irons this summer, the Razr X HL's were one of the sets I tried, along with Mizuno JPX800 and Ping G20's. It came down to the Razr X HL's and the Ping G20's. I found the G20's to be more forgiving and more consistent with distance between clubs. The HL's seem to launch the ball a little too high for me. I ended up getting custom fitted for the G20's and I love them. Whatever you decide, make sure you get fitted.
  3. I played the Burner 2.0's for 5 months and found that they are a very forgiving club with good distance. The only problem I had with them was the distance gap between clubs. I have since changed to custom fitted Ping G 20's and like them much better. Whatever you choose, make sure you get fitted...it does make a difference.
  4. Do yourself a favor and don't worry about what category your clubs fall into......whether they are SGI, GI or Players clubs, the main thing is that you need to feel comfortable hitting them. I am a 20 Handicap and just recently went to get custom fitted for a set of Ping i20's. After hitting them and the Ping G 20's, I decided to purchase the G20's because they felt more comfortable. I didn't care that they were GI irons.
  5. Ditched my Burner 2.0's for custom fitted Ping G 20's about 3 weeks ago. Never looked back.
  6. I have a CG16 3 iron I purchased earlier this summer from Edwin Watts Golf. I used it for one round.....I would like to sell it....let me know if you're interested..
  7. I've been using Cleveland 588's and really like them. There is a $15.00 instant rebate right now at most local golf stores.
  8. Lamkin Crosslines are great and should cost you about $7.00 per grip installed at a local golf store.
