  1. All upper body and arms no proper hip rotation You start downswing with hips, they little feel like they're 'firing' down the line Do that Then freeze video you at impact All you want to see is two things Right heel starting to lift a little at impact Belt buckle already facing the target That means you rotated the hips like a pro You learn proper hip rotation which is the first thing a pro should teach you, but almost no pros know how to teach it To get an idea of how the hips have 'fired' by impact Get an impact of rory or a young Tiger where is their belt buckle? facing the target already AT IMPACT freeze frame yours where is your belt buckle this is the #1 mistake of all 10+ handicaps IMO once you learn to rotate the hips properly the rest just falls into place this is the most difficult part of the swing, it's why almost no pros address it, teach it or even really understand it yet you look at the 'greats', where is the belt buckle AT IMPACT facing the target already you can't swing with arms and get to that position so that's the whole thing learn proper hip rotation there's some good videos on youtube about it guys no one has heard of the close big name pro I saw to get close to explaining it was watson but he confused it up with 'spine angle' rotation is more important than spine angle, so you get that right, the spine angle is right you can have a great spine angle like watson and not properly rotated your hips his hips were already rotating like a great pro so that's why he can't explain it as simple as this but his behind the back club swing drill is good to feel proper rotation, only his spine angle over emphasis isn't enough for most amateurs it's all in the hips you get that proper hip rotation the spine angle kinda takes care of itself great spine angle without proper hip rotation = bad swing proper hip rotation = good swing, and the spine angle can change depending on players stature, so there is no 'real proper' spine angle as some teach but there's only one proper hip rotation at impact if you rotated properly your belt buckle is facing target easy for young players to master the more you age the harder it is to do and learn so rory at impact a young Tiger at impact 2 of the great recent 'swings' the common denominator isn't spine angle, it's belt buckle IMO all facing target that means proper hip rotation which means inside hit with late hinged wrists and lots of lag that snaps into place at the bottom of the swing arc you master that move how good do you want to get scratch plus plus 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 I think someone rated Tiger in 2001 at close to plus 10, or more highest plus ever recorded
  2. two things ball position needs to be more forward, you are inside left heel, big hitters are usually more forward, that also promotes a more proper rotation of hips the main thing is at impact freeze frame it a lot looks very good, an impressive right heel lift right before impact so you should be getting great SS now freeze your impact in the video now compare impact of rory and a young tiger where are their hips, look at the belt buckle, see how theirs is facing the target already AT IMPACT where is your belt buckle facing the ball this is the #1 swing fault of more advanced beginners you master that hip rotation, you can be as good you want and the time you put in it's the separation between hacks and good and great golfers now when you get forward in ball position that can help get the hips better rotated if it doesn't get you rotated enough then you work on one thing HIP ROTATION at impact when you see videos of you with the belt facing the target that's the hardest thing in golf to learn then the rest is easy tweaking grip, setup, spine angle, ball position, take away, top, downswing HIP ROTATION it's the most under taught thing in golf since it's the least understood but a picture is worth a 1000 words freeze frame your impact face one look at rory and young tiger why are their hips already facing target creating that power late hit from inside the so-called 'lag' that all these instructors preach but can't get amateurs to repeat LOL when you see your belt buckle at impact facing target then you know you have a 'swing' good luck you got lots of good stuff in the swing but the belt buckle is the key IMO
  3. swing looks pretty good your legs though are very spead, not what I do, since to me swing arc is maximized by having a more upright setup the only thing that looks obvious is the ball position you're inside left heel, and usually a big hitter on dirver is more forward ball position so it could be as simple as that, the head will square up more if you push the ball a little forward that's my first suggestion if it works which it may simple fix if that doesn't get it close to what you want you do have hips that are not rotated properly at impact probably the #1 flaw all amateurs have the advanced/pro golfer has their hips almost if not facing the target at impact, the position your hips are in when your follow through is almost waist high AFTER IMPACT just look at impact positions of rory and a young tiger where are their hips at impact facing the target, where your's are well past impact that's a much harder fix ball position is a start, that could get the hips firing faster if not then try to create that late hinge lag before impact by having the hips properly rotated and facing the target looks close though lots of good stuff you are doing right
  4. u welcome
  5. first video impact looks good, hips rotated nice but then you back it up you are almost casting down from the top, so instead of creating the lag with a strong inside move you seem to be leading with arms from top instead of hips to created the lag hinge my 2 cents, usually I start at impact right after I look at take away then top so I don't see any major flaws there, no big sway or easy to see stuff it just looks like you are too armsy from the top which is weird though, cause your hips are almost to target at impact, if the hips were slow like most amateurs, you would be push slicing with a cast you got fast hips so it becomes a pull anyway, looks pretty close but a conscious delay of hands with a pull to the inside maintaining hinge gets the propery lag and late inside hit instead of an over the top strong pull I didn't see the other videos, I just watched the initial video so that was the 'main flaw' from what I saw good luck
  6. 2-3 months impressive setup ok for a beginner takeaway ok top looks ok the main problem freeze frame at impact your right side is stuck behind the shot, not yet lifting up with the classic right heel lift at impact the main thing though HIPS you are almost dead square at impact look at pics of rory and a young tiger right at impact where are the hips they're rotated so much their belt buckle is pointed to the target so lower body and hip turn is the impact issue but the rest looks marvelous for 2-3 months you get the lower body right and hips fired at impact then see where the ball is and how far then you can tweak any minor stuff at address, ball position, takeaway, top, plane, etc. your major fault is hips though, not rotated at impact huge distance leak and yeah, tendancy to push slice or chicken wing and flip weak hooks from that impact zone Pretty swing though for a 2-3 month player It looks well developed to me, not 2-3 months old
  7. I guess when it's 10 bucks a gal and almost no one in SFL can buy it, they will turn i-95 into a new autobahn. Then I can see what my 550 Benz convertible can really do and my Lambo. LOL Let them take the bus 1PLAYER said with a smile. If they can't afford 10 buck a gal gas. Higher gas = less traffic That's GOOD IMO Less pollution. Less traffic Les accidents
  8. Holly Sanders HANDS DOWN Or should I say HANDS ON
  9. The only birdie I ever felt bad about happened a couple of years after I started playing. I hit a career for then 3 Wood into a tough par 4 with OB each side, a range on the left and houses on right, it was the longest par 4 on the course. 475 or so. I hit a weak 250 drive into right rough. Had 225 to green from rough So I slam a 3 wood I flush it, felt like a career 3 wood. 50 feet from my shot a bird falls out of the sky Head completely decapitated Ball was on back fringe of green, the tiny head of the bird didn't slow that ball down any. Missed the putt But that's probably my most memorable 'birdie' I ever had. I was gonna stuff the poor thing but decided not to. TRUE STORY The funniest story was a kid I played with one day, he had long dreds, absolute dope head. But he played halfway decent. But his miss was a dead pull left, a vicious line drive. Somehow he hits it on a hole that bordered a busy road, 6 lines of traffic literally 6 feet from the OB fence. A cop is there giving a ticket to a person. Ball hits his rear window of squad car and shatters it. Cop hits the sidewalk and pulls his gun. I couldn't help but crack up. Cop looking at me ready to shoot me. I point to the kid with dreds. Cop jumps fence he's got the kid in handcuffs in 3 seconds. I'm rolling laughing. Cop says you want to get arrested. I say, excuse me officer that was 100% an ACCIDENT, the kid stinks, he's been pulling balls all day. So if you got a code for being a bad golfer ARREST HIM, but if I were you I'd get those bracelets off of him ASAP or we're all gonna be witnesses to police brutality. The kid STINKS You cannot arrest him for being a bad golfer. Cop calls his station, a few minutes later he lets the kid go. TRUE STORY
