I think there is a lot of parody this year in collage basketball. I dont see any one team thats great. Tough to say who at this point will be in it. If you want some upset picks teams out of THE VALLEY could make some noise. The MVC Is the 8th rated conference in CBB. Wichita State and Creighton are very good teams. I dont follow alot of other conferences. If Arkansas gets in I think they are a tough out. Indiana Michigan and Miami look good.

Need suggestions for a new shaft!

That very well could be. Any tips or drills to see of this works first?
May not want to hear this, but it's unlikely that any shaft change is going to do much for you. The Nunchuk is already very tip stiff and the most likely reason for your issues is technique, not equipment. It's near certain -- given what you describe -- that you are letting the club head pass your hands right around impact, which adds dynamic loft to the club face and raises your launch angle and backspin. If this is the case, changing shafts and even coming down in loft on your driver head will do little to change your launch conditions. You'll have to work on getting your hands ahead and getting the shaft leaning slightly forward (or, at least, not backwards) through the ball to make a dent in your spin and trajectory problems. I guess maybe I will just get a new setup and keep this one as a back up? I don't know. I had heard a club head with a high CG will produce more spin than a lower CG head. Any truth to that? -

What would you suggest for a head? I really like the 905r and I hit the Nunchuk straight. Just want better flight. I think the Nunchuk is 44 or 45 inches. Seems any ball I hit has done it. The ball i had been playing was a noodle but have switch to the TP5.
What loft is the head? The nunchuk isn't usually considered high spinning, especially at 100+ grams. 905r isn't a low spinning head at all, so a different head would probably reduce the spin a lot, especially with a lower loft. Also, what ball do you play? That can add a couple hundred rpm as well, so adjust your expectations accordingly. You have a nearly 300 dollar shaft, yet play almost a decade old head. Consider selling the shaft if you don't like it and use the money towards a whole new driver if need be. Lots of guys play that exact shaft at 44 inches or shorter, so pulls should go for good money. If you can hit the nunchuk straight, which most people like about it, then try experimenting with a low spin head at lower lofts.
-
I have a Titlest905r with a Nunchuk shaft. My drives i carry around 240-250, but get 3 yards of roll. My drives look like a bird being shot out of the sky, they just nose dive!!! With this shaft I'm getting alot of back spin. I thought it was my swing, AoA and all that jazz. No matter what I do I get 4000+ rpm and a 18* launch. So I'm going to experiment with some new shafts. Any suggestions? Brand? Model?

Do you belong?
In St. Louis area, we have the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association (MAGA). This group is affiliated with the USGA. MAGA has about one or two 36-hole association tournaments a month, and also sponsors regional qualifying events for the different USGA tournanments. The area also has an affiliated senior golf association that coordinates a series of weekly tournaments at regional clubs and courses.
Anybody try theses Nunchuck shafts?
castlerockmo replied to ApocG10's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I went ahead and put in my driver about November or so I have since played20+ rounds with. I am really not impressed I carry it about 235-250 but then it falls out of the sky like a dead bird. I honestly get 5 yards roll. It seems I lost 25-30 yards, and everyone I play with has commented about. I can hit my 5W that far! Any other shafts I should try? -
My kids screaming at each other!!!

I just got an email from the director. Those are the prices he gave. A couple are private clubs

Which tour? Golf week or golf channel? Gc seems expensive but looks like golfweek is 78 to join and 75-80 an event.

They just added a local tour to my area. But I cant find how much membership cost. If its alot cheaper I may join golfweek instead of GC tour.
Brad Pitt's brother, Doug. Well, he wasn't famous at the time so it doesn't really count. Went to school with Brad and Doug. Played with Doug when I was trying out for the high school golf team.
I guess you went to school in Springfield mo? I played with Tim Clark and Lee Jansen -

Nunchuk xi iron shafts review.....
castlerockmo replied to Antiskell's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I guess that blows a hole in their " one size fits all" theory. My shaft Is 44" I think its a bit over rated. My uncle Is a pro and warned me about them and I fell for the hype. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't nearly 2 bills for the thing. -

Nunchuk xi iron shafts review.....

I switched my driver shaft to the nunchuk. About 14 rounds ago. I'm not sure I like it. It's heavy something like 110 grams. I also lost distance and dont see my shots any straighter. I talked to a few people and everyone had pulled it out after playing it. I think this shaft Is going to see a similar fate. Sad to say especially since they are not cheap!! -
