1. Click on week one... I just changed my round 3 lineup
2. It's accidental if they can't see you and aren't sure you're there. If someone can see you are in a location their ball can land and still hits it, that's deliberate. People who do it are trying to send a message to speed up. To clarify I said I hit the ball back... not at them. Chances are there is a shorter club in my hand and the point is made by sending the person further back down the fairway. I've done that once... and the ball had hit my cart.
3. Double post...
4.
You just proved my point. It sounds like if you were to clone yourself and played in a foursome behind yourself, it would end badly. :) EDIT: Whoops, my mistake ... you only elaborated on how poorly you handle getting hit into. I still don't have any idea how you handle slow players in front of you so I don't really know how it would work out with multiple "you's" on one course. :)
It's very simple actually... if I have a slow group in front of me... which is almost always, I try to jump ahead, or just enjoy the day. If someone hits up on me deliberately... you better believe there will be an issue. That's dangerous... and can't be allowed. I'd never have an issue with myself playing behind me because I don't hit up on people regardless of how slow they play. I can skip ahead just as easily.
5. That only happened to me once... and I hit the ball back.
6. When I get hit up on... I slow down for a hole or 2 deliberately. They get the hint...
7. Common theory is between 4-6° gap between wedges. I dropped an "iron" pw quite a few years ago to carry a true wedge pw. I bag: 46-52-58-64 I swap out the 64 for a 3 wood depending on the course... which I find myself doing more and more since the 64 is a 2 shot per round club and easily substituted for the 58.
8. Like many others here... I prefer to play by myself. Hopefully I'm a single, if I get paired up... fine... I'm focusing on my game regardless... The best is in the rain... whole course to yourself!
9. I was a member of a private club last season... the family joined for the facilities... since the club was uber kid friendly. The reason we're one and done with private country clubs is not the actual cost but the nickel and diming where we felt we were getting gauged. When one spends 10k+ on a membership... 2 ice creams a piece of fruit and a soda at the pool shouldn't be $17. I'm sure all clubs are different, but I felt that being treated like I don't care about costs was too much for me. If you have the disposable income and want to pay a premium... then it's worth it. Just make sure everything is layer out up front... we had a lot of little surprises during the season...
10. 1. Break 80 2. Revamp putting stroke 3. Introduce new putter line to market
11. I have George Costanza's dream job... Architect!
12. Been lurking around for awhile and figured I'd join finally. I'm an architect with a serious golf addiction... and I'm also an aspiring putter maker. I'm shut in for the cold winter ahead... so it's time to chat about golf while it can't be played!
