  1. i love my X460 tour, great driver, but now im eyeing that FT-5.....
  2. my little bro picked up the r7 Draw driver from golfsmith for 200 bucks. it works great for him, hes about a 20 cap, but you should try and demo some at the range before you buy if possible.
  3. i am most impressed with their putting and their ability to consistently do many varieties of wedge shots around the green.
  4. Man, golf in San Diego is great, lot of great courses, but prices keep going up and up and up. oh yes, played torrey a number of times. got a residents card and can get on for 34 bucks most of the time. i played it a couple of days ago but i had to play the back nine of the north course twice because the front is under construction to make way for the US Open. I tried to get on the South, but all of the tourists had tee times and it was packed.
  5. ill toss a club every once in a while, not fling them or anything. it feels good to toss one a few feet every once in a while to let your anger out, sorry i know thats not right, but ill usually just drop the club after a string of bad shots and think to myself, "What the heck was that?"
  6. whats up everyone, my name is zach, im 18 years old. im a lefty from san diego, i play as much golf as i can when i have the time off from college and work. I hover around a four handicap and am addicted to golf. i hope to give some good advice and get some excellent advice! look forward to posting. Fore!
  7. yeah thats a good way, if im getting out of rhythm, i simply count 1 at the takeaway.....2 when im swinging through the impact zone in my head, and it seems to work pretty well. and if my tempo gets bad at the range, i'll step off the ball and relax for a couple minutes on a bench or something.
  8. work on your alignment at the range, and when you are trying to hit a green, dont aim at the pin, just be conservative and go for the middle of the dancefloor. maybe club up and take some off your swing, might help with accuracy.
  9. i used to hit cavity backs all they up until i got my x-forged blades, and after getting used to those, i will never go back. personally, the transition wasn't hard, i loved the traditional look with the thin topline, and now any cavity back looks too cumbersome when im hitting them.
