You can always video tape your swing and post it in the "My Swing" area of this site. Their are definitely a few experts on this site that can give you help with your swing if they can see it.

We used to do it that way too. We wanted to make it more challenging for someone deciding to go it alone. The main reason why that we made the switch is because we have a low handicapper that plays with us and when he was the wolf if he wasn't excited about the rest of us high handicappers drives, he would usually go it alone knowing that he was at worst going to push. I wish we would make it more exciting by having the wolf go last, that might make the game no fun though.

Welcome to the sport. Right off the bat I notice you have a pretty big gap in yardages from a 9I to a SW, since you don't have a PW you might want to get some wedges to fill in those gaps. I'm not an expert on Revolta clubs, but they sound pretty old. If you have the cash maybe look at getting some new irons.

I have always found that it is easier to teach someone the correct way the first time, then to unlearn bad or non-existent teaching. I don't think most beginners really care what the rules are anyways, so giving them a different set of rules they won't follow doesn't make sense to me.

It's been between 106-112 here the last week. Other than drinking a lot of water before, during and after my round their is only one other thing I do to help. I use a towel, sometimes 2, and soak it in cold water and keep it wrapped around my neck while I am walking the course. When it gets really bad I will put the 2nd one on top of my head. Every time I find a water faucet I load up the towel again and keep chugging along. It makes the walking tolerable for me.

I had probably 5-6 putts around 5 feet and I missed everyone one of them. Don't know how to explain it, everything else in my game was going well.

I hit the G25's today for about 30 minutes. I didn't like them very much. Nothing felt solid off of the club face even though the ball was going a good distance. I hit them as well or as bad as I hit my own irons but they just didn't feel solid to me. I have only hit a few shots with the Cobra's, but I like them more than the Ping's. In the end it is what feels good to you not anyone else. I know a lot of people who swear by their Ping's and don't like Callaway's.

The green and white are right next to each other on the chart, so they are not far off. How are the clubs playing for you even though they might be a little off? I'm also wondering do you think that your swing has changed in that year and a half?

Possible answers a) because I have unlimited money to replace the golf club I just ruined and I like to brag to my friends about how I always "play it as it lies". b) because the game of golf is so easy that I need to penalize myself to make it more challenging. c) because I am a moron.

Are you using the color that was on the chart for your size, or is it not always accurate? For my measurements it says I should be Red, but I already fade the ball and the chart makes it seem like I need Black or even Blue because of my fade. What are your thoughts/suggestions?

I have only hit the Cobra's once just for a few swings, but tomorrow we are having Ping demo day at my club. I am very interested in buying the G25's, I'll let you know how they feel.

My favorite game we play is called Wolf. It is a 2 on 2 game where you take the low ball for each team to decide who wins the hole. The game is played where the Wolf decides who he is playing with for that hole after watching each player hit their tee shot. The catch is he must decide if he wants a player before the next guy tees off, once the next guy tees off he can't choose the previous player and so on. If he doesn't want the 2nd, he can pick the 3rd or the 4th. Whoever the wolf decides to play with is his partner for the hole. The wolf can also decide to pick no one and play the hole against the other 3. If the wolf goes alone he must beat the others, no pushes when a guy goes alone. Each hole you rotate the wolf but must hit in the same order you started with. Example below. Hole 1 - A is the wolf, B hits crappy shot (doesn't want him), C hits an OK drive (picks him as his partner), D hits a 300 yard drive. A & C vs B & D. Hole 2 - B is the wolf, C hits an OK drive (gets picked), D hits a monster drive, A hits a monster drive. B & C vs D & A Hole 3 - C is the wolf (hits a great shot), D hits bad (not picked), A hits bad (not picked), B hits bad (If C doesn't pick him, C is playing alone) Hole 4 - D is the wolf Hole 5 - A is the wolf On and on Whatever team wins the hole, each player gets 1 point. At the end of the round whoever has the most points gets the most money. You can push on a hole except when the wolf goes it alone (he must win or all 3 guys get a point) Probably butchered the explanation of it. Hope it makes sense.

Could have shot even better if you I don't 3 putt 10 and on 18 I was lying 2 100 yards out and bladed my GW into a greenside bunker and took 2 shots to get out of the sand. Every part of my game was going well. Can't wait until I have one of those rounds where I have no complaints. I guess if I ever do that then I will be under par. Today was my first day using my new Patriot grips, I'm sure it had something to do with it.

Why should he not be using a ProV1x? If it feels good for him and he doesn't mind paying the price, more power to him.
