  1. yeah i know what your saying... the problem with me is being left handed i can never try out as many clubs as i would like... can always find the pings, just never the cobras
  2. Just wanna hear what you guys think about these irons... If you had to pick, which ones would u buy??
  3. I recently put a winn dry tech midsize grip on one of my clubs. I've noticed about a 10--15 yard increase in distance since putting it on. Could putting mid sized grips on help my distance ??
  4. next time i play i might try walking to see how i do then... i made me a makeshift push cart out of an old baby stroller that seems like it will work just fine !!!
  5. Heck yeah !!!!! No joke I dread having to hit the draw with my driver. Although every now and then I'll get ahold of one and mash it
  6. Either a tight fairway or dog leg right where I should be hitting a draw. I can consistently hit a nice big fade (lefty) down fairway almost every time. Force me to hit a draw and something happens.
  7. Does it take the distance from the swing or do you have yo drive/walk up to the ball to get the distance of it ?
  8. I eventually would like to start walking while playing, but I have a fear of playing slow. As of now, I typically shoot around 105-110, hitting the 90s every now and then. IMO I don't think I should start walking until I can consistantly shoot in the 90s. Any suggestions ?
  9. I 100% agree with you on short putts that lining them up keeps me from thinking too much, but as far as any putt greater than 25 ft, when lining them up I tend to come up WAY short.
  10. yeah ... on lag putts, i've just been picking a spot out close to the cup instead of lining it up and have been getting better results. I guess ill roll with it and see what happens
  11. When putting, I usually line my line on the ball up with the cup like most people do. I recently found that my putts are better if I just eye it up then go with it.. Anyone else in the same boat as I am ??
  12. Is this the golf logix app ?? if so, can u tell me how to calculate distances... id love to do that even if i have to pay for the membership
  13. I too am still searching for that "go to" ball. The way I see it, the more balls I play, the better chance I have of finding that ball. As of now however, my go to balls are the E6 or (a little cheaper and I'm not sure if they make it anymore) is the Nike Ignite. Seem to keep the Ignite on the fairway more and has decent feel around the green.
  14. If it is early in the morning and my buddies and I haven't had any range time (which we usually don't cuz it's way too early) we take two off of the first just to loosen up a bit. One thing I did find interesting and might start using is if you DO elect to hit the second shot you have to play that one. Learn something new every day
  15. I have been in the market for new grips but don't know what I'm looking for. I would like something that doesn't slip out of my hands too much cuz I tend to sweat a lot. I am currently testing out a WINN dry and Lamkin crossline and was told the Lamkin would be better, but in fact the WINN seems to stick better. Any Suggestions ?
  16. Thanks for the help
  17. Student as well as a Baseball Coach... What free time I do have is spent on golf..
  18. Shot a 93 today after going about a month without playing well. Went back to the basics to find my swing. Bunkers were terrible, played like cement so could have been lower. Couple of blowup holes. Birdied a nice par 4 while hitting my driver well all day
  19. I would like to post what clubs I use at the bottom of my posts.... Any tips on how to ? thanks Jimmer
  20. New to the Sand Trap straight from Belle Chasse, Louisiana... Play a lot on the westbank as well as the north shore
