I've added an inch and a half adapter to several of my drivers and it has always helped me. I used to have a Cobra Long Tom that was 48 inches stock and I could hit it really straight. That club had way too high of a spin rate for me though so it has been gone for a while. I just always swing a longer driver better. Lengthening the shaft is easy. Just remove the grip and epoxy the extender in. I just go to Golfsmith and they sell me one whenever I need it for a couple of bucks plus I always pick up a new grip there too.

How is this done? I have the air compressor but usually regrip the old fashioned way.

I have been regripping my clubs for several years. I dont even use a vice. Just be sure to get the special blades for your knife to make is safe. Look on Youtube or google it. Very simple

My PW is set at 44. The other wedge in the set is now set at 48 and I carry a 52 and 56 degree wedge

Just joined in Memphis. Actually live in North Mississippi. Looking for a good club to join around here. I have cheked out Wedgewood and North Creek. Also looked into Hernando Hills Country Club. Looking for somewhere to go out about 6am and walk 9 holes before work. Usually play to a 10 hdcp but my scores vary widely. 40 year old businessman.
