Same here, codes never worked for me and whammo, got the 2 sleeves today!

Yep, outside. ONly difference was they are 1/2" longer than mine, well and a stiff shaft. I easily gained 10 yards on a 6i.

Ha, very true Tony. I need to try them again when my swing isn't 100% and that will be the true test! Did try the Bridgestones as well. The CB and the muscle back one. I preferred the muscle back to the cb one.

So, been looking for a second set of irons and was leaning towards something a wee more forgiving than my MP 57's, then I tried the MP 67's...I know, less forgiving, but geesh, I was killing the ball with them! What to do, what to do! I might forget the AP2's or CCI forged and just snag the 67's. I was shocked at how well I was hitting them. I need to go back in and try again, but man, what a club

Bring this back! CCI forged or Pro Combo? THe combo sets are going really cheap, might be the ticket until next year when I can score soem AP2's I want. Then I have to ask, Pro COmbo or regualr CCI? Ha!

So, my wife wants to "try" and play golf...GREAT! How much do woemn's clubs differ from men's? Shorter, lighter, prettier, etc? She wants a super cheapo set to see if she likes it, I'd prefer to get her a mid-line decent set. Now thinking I'll just score a set of decent men's irons if they are alright for women? Any suggestions on which way to go? I sure don't want her to get the total package el cheapos for $199

Looks like I might have to try and figure out a way to snag some Ap2. So, I am clueless on project x shafts. Now I play sensicore regualrs in my 57's, but think I need to move up to a stiff. What PX shaft would be similar to the DG stiff?

I just figured out bounce this year after getting back into the game and it changed my whole mentality on many shots. Yep, tighter lies use less bounce. I always tried to use my sand wedge with about 10* bounce off of hardpans arounds the greens, 9/10 skull it. I now use a 60* lob with 4* bounce on hardpans or if I am totally hidden under the upper lip of a bunker, as my sw is only a 54* For the life of me, I can't get use to either of my gap wedges and am about to not use one, as my pw seems to be better for my game in consitency.

Thanks guys. Appreciate it. I have no intentions of leaving my 57's behind. The reason I am looking for another set of irons is I now have somewhat of a need for two actual sets of clubs. One to leave at our summer getaway campergrounds which is next door to a small course I joined, and the other for everything else. I basically have extras of woods, etc, just lacking the irons, so wanting to try something different from the 57's. And to be honest, the curioisty is appealing too! I might even wait until winter here in Ohio and try to snag a used set cheaper if I can. While were at it and they have been brought up, feel wise, how do the ap1 differ from the ap2? As one would expect? I'm going to try and find a dealer with them in stock to try, but not having much luck at this time.

Kinda what I'm thinking. Though my game is coming along nicely and I love the 57's. sometimes I wish I had something just a wee bit easier to hit when I am feeling "less than" my game ya know. I still want the feel and feedback and those AP's are looking good right now.

So, which set guys? I really dig my MP57's, but wanna try something else.

Guess it depends on if you want the same club? I use 3 different hybrids. I assume next time around I will get 2-3 matching, but the nice thing is...each is weighted and plays a little different. The middle one can easily go into the shorter or longer one's yardage. It all depends on the shot truly and my swing each day. Sometimes I just choke up or go full bore depending on my mindset at the time. I do love the clubs though, large distance options for me. For example, any of them have about a total of 20 yards I can work with and usually be within 5 yards of my "guess". For me, this is great, but others might not like it.

I agree here. But, I assume he's only goofing around...at least I hope so! I have a 6 week old daughterwhich comes before everything. JUst pick your rounds as you can...enjoy all facets of life bro. I think if all is well in life, then even with less golf, your mental game will certainly be much better. It did for me.

While I have to lean against such ruling, it obviously won't affect me at all. I think most of us enjoy buying and trying new gear as much as possible, so odds are the large majority of this group would be buying new wedges long before it takes hold.

I'll have to check those places for sure. I have no clue why I like the 07 better, just seem to play better with it for some reason. It's weird, but I do like it better than the Prov, this week at least. I've read about the distance loss, but I don't seem to notice. My swing is nowhere near perfect or the same every time, though I am trying, that could easily be why I don't notice the loss. I need to give the 330's another good trial before my final decision, then next year's gear is right around the corner.

Well, been trying and trying balls all year long to find the one for me, no pun intended I bought a sleeve of 08 One Plat and at first hated them, then worked on my game, etc. Tried another and liked them alright. So, got one of those ebay deals on the mint ones, good balls too. Anyway, I found I love the '07 model! Just really feels and works good all around for me, better for me than the new version. Weird heh? If I am correct, 08 has the red part near the name, 07 is just black with a + sign, and the 06 is black with no + sign, correct? So, looks like my balls will come from ebay or as I find the older model at retail stores, last I checked Wal Mart still has the 07 model.

I'm a high hdcp and love the 585. I have hyrbids from Mizuno, Titleist, Nickent, and Callaway. I like them all, but if I could pull out a matched set it would be the 585h. Just get it!
