  1. I had a set of callaways that I really love but for my new set next year I might try out mizuno. I use my bros mizuno irons 2 weeks ago and I really loved the results and feel. But when crunch time comes for new clubs in the spring I'll go with whats most confortable to me so that means 2 hours in golftown hitting clubs...lol
  2. I'm a fan of the bridgestone balls but I've recently changed to the new topflight gamers. $20 per dozen new, and I didn't lose any distance and gained more spin control around ther greens. How I chose my new ball selection was research and I bought 1 sleeve of each brand I wanted to try out and pick the ball that was right for me. Good luck and I'm sure you'll find one you like.
  3. I don't know if you guys get "JAZZ" clubs down in the US but thats a well known popular beginner club up here in Canada and there prices are fair I think the JAZZ Bear Cats are the newest set out this year. Don't quote me on it, but I've seen a lot of people with those new clubs on the course this year.
  4. Well I've been stuck in a rut for the last week (5 games) can't get lower than 87 and staying below 90, I guess you could call it consistant but I'd like to break 87. I'm working on my chipping/short game, thats whats killing me lately. Guess I'll see what score I'll get this afternoon.
  5. I've had the rare occasion of playing in soft sand but hard sand is mostly what I'm used to. I find that if you just try to pick it clean out, you'll get out way better than doing the sand wave. I just imagine hitting my club off the pavement (and oviously you wouldn't want to damage your club so you won't dig in). that works for me.
  6. I'm in the military so I enjoy traveling to all the different bases and play on different golf courses. PS: who do I talk to in regards of not being able to start a new thread?
  7. Doh my ball isn't on the list Wilson Staff TX4 thats my fav.
  8. I bought a Nikent 3DX square head for $140 and I must say its the best investment I ever made. Straight every time and avg 300yrd drives but you should always test your club first before you buy.
