  1. Fortunately I haven't had many of these to deal with, but the times I have my PW has done fantastically
  2. I don't have a tip for you but I wanted to say great idea putting the video camera up behind you. I'm going do to this next time I'm out on the range and dissect my swing too.
  3. I saw this on the news earlier, absolutely stunning. I mean a doctor looked at her and walked away, a damn doctor. At least get her up and in a bed to make sure she doesn't die, I thought that was the oath of a doctor. I hate to say race probably played a role in it which is ever sadder, but I hope they're all punished properly
  4. That's awesome, 500 bucks in free golf gear! Just buy what you need , i know i need a lot of stuff lol
  5. I like having a wedge lower than my pitching wedge because you never know when you never that high lift, like when you're stuck in deeeeep rough. That's just me though
  6. I can't speak from experience because my wenges are all old :/ but the times I've played with my dads new wednes I've been extremely impressed. My dads old boss swore by old rusty wedges, my dad loves the new ones, so I'm kind of up in the air about it. But I think I'd rather have new shiny wedges :D
  7. I've never heard of those before. I'm going to have to look into these because the courses here in Colorado are getting way too hot, even in early afternoon.
  8. Goo Gone is really some amazing stuff, i never thought about using it on my clubs before though. Great tip Goo Gone should be available at most big and small hardware stores, as well as Wal Mart and similar.
  9. I really enjoyed your story. I get to go golfing with my dad sometimes, but not as often as I would like, and I've never played in a tournament with him. He just works too much unfortunately. Relating to your story a little bit too, He's been trying to convince my 16 year old sister to try golfing recently. She's not too fond of it, but I've been convincing her too, so maybe one day they can play you guys! :)
  10. I'm here in Colorado, and even though you can't technically play "year around", you sort of can. For example last December, I went golfing 5 times. It was fairly warm, no snow on the ground, perfect golfing weather. Sometimes if Colorado decides to dump a ton of snow, there are a couple weeks golfing can't happen, but other than that it's really up in the air daily. But in the last year I've been able to go golfing at least twice every month
  11. Congrats man, I sometimes struggle with consistency too. Just remember what you did today and keep it up :D maybe practice your long putting a little bit and cut a few more strokes off that bad boy
  12. I'd keep them for holes that are iffy, because I do lose a lot of balls and there's nothing better than cheap golf balls, especially when you run through 'em
  13. my dad is getting a little old but I'm still a little young, I think on fathers day we played 18 holes and he beat me by 2 strokes so he's still got it in him.
  14. If global warming is indeed a man-made problem, there's probably very little we can do now to fix it. We've been dicking around for too many years debating the evidence, instead of erroring on teh side of caution and doing something about it. I've always done my best to try and help the environment, and I don't see why people would dislike living in a cleaner, greener world. But like I said before, it's probably happening and it's probably too late for us to fix it, even if we wanted to.
  15. My biggest problem chipping is over-hitting. So instead of a full back-swing with a littel follow-through, My backswing is about 25% with a full follow-through, and the results were fantastic for me personally. I do agree that there are too many variables on the course to get into an exact-chipping-routine, but as long as you get your swing down, that should be a good start to improved chipping. As for putting, I'll be subscribing to this thread to try to pick up a few of those myself!
