  1. LOLLLLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLL. Not sure its worth the time of explaining or if that was a joke.
  2. Glad to hear you're ok.
  3. The Seahawks shut Colin Kapernicks running/scrambling out and made him a quarterback, what did they do? Absolutely nothing (Think it was a regular season game, I have a bad memory lol). Once the defense stops just wanting to ram someone into the ground and actually play defense I doubt Johnny will do much of anything, him proving me wrong would be awesome. I love my team and certain players but I LOVE football. I just want to see good games and good plays. IMHO its better for the league overall look at the NBA couple good teams then the "stars" when the "stars" are hurt/dont play nobody wants to watch or go.
  4. Wow glad to hear your still able to golf. If I may ask how did that happen?
  5. Ive never been one for plastic parts (but to each their own) especially when they look as assembly lined as hers. Give Susan Boyle enough cosmetic surgery and she'd look equally as good. Actual knowledge of sports and good journalism >>>> looks and tight/skimpy clothing. I hated Erin Andrews when she first came to FOX Football but as time passed I began to realize (or maybe she put the work in) that she actually knew some football.
  6. I forgot I have a box of basketball and baseball cards. Took a few to a shop and of course they want to give you pennies. Anyone interested?
  7. I had a few signed pictures of athletes and actors when I was younger given to me by my dad and I used them as coasters. I regret it now that Ive gotten older more so because my dad has passed on then the value of said items. I stopped collecting Jordans and started collecting Lebrons (samples, f&f;, PEs) although the last 2 models haven't been much to see Im hoping with the move back to Cleveland things back to "the good ol days". Then I started collecting jerseys and autographed balls because they take up less space but have since stopped that. Picked up a few bobbleheads from games that are still tucked away in boxes which causes the same problem as the shoes lol so thats been put on hold (especially since people put them up on ebay as soon as they get their ticket. After I graduate and buy a house I would like to start collecting again and dedicate a room or two to my collection. Ive met alot of cool people from all walks of life from collecting.
  8. With their history its easy to see why people would think its intentional especially since he was the one who caused his spinout. I saw a raw video (only 2 or 3 times from a cell phone) and it looked to me like he swerved into him (probably more so to scare him than to actually run him over) and he hit him on accident it could also be him slamming on his brakes and the car moving to the right as a result but not being there in person or seeing a better video I definitely cant say. Sad situation
  9. Giants fan here and I cant wait!! I enjoy all the games for the most part (maybe excluding Thursday Night Football) Im ready to see some good plays and Romo in December lol
  10. I personally like his RLX clothing. Based on some of the other things said here just surprised his octopus or pink plaid pants and "army" belts didn't receive a little more hate
  11. The thing that helped me the most was just getting more reps. Feeling the difference between a good shot one with 50 yards of slice. Gripping the club the right way, more so the placement of the thumb than anything else and keeping the club square through impact. Before every drive or long iron I just tell myself to take a "smaller swing" which helped me better keep the club square through impact. Also not over rotating the shoulders (usually taking the club back father than needed) and over rotating my hips/getting my hips to far out in front of my hands. Once I got those things in order the slice was gone. When I'm tired or have had a bad day the slice begins to return sometimes but just telling myself these things before the shot or walking to the next shot usually clears it right back up.
  12. LOL at most of these pictures being so outdated. . Like Golfingdad said something you wouldn't wear and being the worst dressed are two totally different things. I don't like the new Nike apparel or the pants with the spilt at the hem and I think that Rickie Fowler should tone it down a little but I wouldn't say they are the worst dressed. I'd say Brenden de Jonge and Kevin Stadler, if they're shirts aren't accentuating their stomachs then their pants look like a flag swaying in the wind. Ian Poulter's plaid pants look like the plaid cargo shorts found at Walmart and never coordinate let alone "match" with the rest of the outfits. I don't understand not having your pants (or shirts) altered unless thats how they prefer them Jimmy Walker enough said. According to most of the brands social media posts, the outfits are chosen by the company. I think alot to do with how well/poorly they're dressed has to do with logo placement and the size of the logo(s) and the cut of the pants. I am a little surprised I didn't see more votes for Billy Horschel. Tony Finau on the Web.Com Tour always looks a mess to me. Shirt untucked and pants that appear to be worn way below the hip
  13. Not discounting Evolvr at all Im sure they are excellent at what they do and has helped many people and will continue too. Guess I worded my previous post wrong. The Golf Academy is more of a preference thing kinda like you sticking to the soda you grew up drinking or always ordering the same thing at a restaurant (if that makes any sense). They are the first people I started seriosuly paying attention too when I started to take things more seriously (Im 23 now guess that has alot to do with it lol). I did things that were natural to me in my swing and it sure didnt look like "golf swing" but I was a consistent ball striker. Ive been working with an instructor for a few months and for the most part "we" are changing everything that was "natural" to me to be more "mechanically sound". Im short like Rory so when Peter Kostis ( and others) say this is how a short guy gets his power Im all ears then I take that perfected tip to my lesson and my instructor says im "falling back into old habits." The only person whose tips actually "passed" were a few from Paul Azinger. Now I just emulate the people?thing he shows me on the side by side. The golf swing is definitely not something that can be self diagnosed (for most people) but when you know/feel what your doing wrong then maybe. Lots of times (when we are looking at my swing side by side) I tell my instructor what Im doing wrong before he can actually tell me (he is a PGA pro). I will definitely give Evolvr a try when Im out of town or probably when school starts, they clearly have a good reputation here. Thank you for the recommendation much appreciated!
  14. Everytime I try and implement something from Michel Breed, Martin Hall or Peter Kostis, it ends up hurting my progress and my instructor has to re-fix what I picked up from those guys. With that said if I was to do online lessons or recommend someone Id still say to go through The Golf Academy (lovely app I might add)
  15. I definitely would've returned it or filed a case with my credit card company/bank and reported it to Taylormade. Just like any other industry "they say" the counterfeiting takes more money away than anything. Guy on the Jimmy Roberts piece was sent a free driver from Ping once he realized he had a fake. Ive seen the best prices on ebay (hate to say it) but with yelp or a quick google search you can easily find the reputation of a company or person. If the club(s) dont end up with rattle most people never know they have counterfeit clubs. Guess that means there will people who actually care about the sport left. Lots of people buy a new set of clubs every year if not sooner which is ridiculous whether you have a billion dollars or not. Majority of the clubs on ebay/other forums barely have been used because they go out and but the latest and end up with the wrong shaft. wrong lie, etc or theyre selling this years staff bag because they find they have no use and/or space for it. They cant get distance or whatever they're looking for and just give up. I started on varsity level sport teams as a freshman in high school (we went to CIF every year) and I haven't had to practice/study or work as hard at any other sport like I have in golf. I've seen sooo many people on forums asking what clubs/shaft etc they should get because they say they suck and are too embarrassed to get fitted. Only reason I went to Dicks in the first place was because THE PGA Tour and Golf Digest promote them so heavily. I agree with you on the new clubs not being worth the money. . .Im tying to decide now if I should get last years X forged or this years Apex pros. . . Golfsmiths used 2013 X forged are the same price (if not more expensive than online retailers Apexs and have a few knicks) and online for a new set its only like a 100-200 for the 2014 Apexs and most places that price includes shipping, your choice of shafts and even being cut to your desired length.
