  1. i actually JUST watched that on swingacademy on the bottom pic, it looks as if you're watching your clubhead back and then focus back to the ball close to the top of your backswing .... dont do that lol keep your eye on the ball the whole time check out my thread i just started and see if you can tell im doing anything wrong or not
  2. http://www.swingacademy.com/swingana...l.aspx?id=1463 http://www.swingacademy.com/swingana...l.aspx?id=1464
  3. yes, i know grip is very important, i just cant tell if im neutral strong or weak just trying to keep consistency, im about a 5-7 handicap i shoot normally in the low 70s but ill shoot mid 70s on occasion
  4. that particular shot started about 5 yards left of my target and faded back to it, not much at all ... im mainly just trying to keep consistent 1. my divots are normally at or just right of my targets, that means im swinging on the correct plane, i think i may be flipping my wrists too much on occasion 2. my golf buddies say my grip is neutral ??? im not sure how to tell 3. theres a good chance its mental
  5. i just really dont want to LOSE anything, im fine with hitting the same distance, just want more forgiveness, as long as my distance stays (and some accuracy too of course) then ill be cool with it
  6. ahh i see, thanks for the help
  7. thats kind of what i thought! i read earlier, somebody posted to act as if you are rolling the ball with your hand, im going to play some after work today and see if that helps me any, however, i was hoping you wouldnt say to let it develop i need game improvement NOW lol
  8. i will try to get the different view, i've never used swing academy, is it as simple as photobucket?? .... when you say the ball is too far back, i've worked on trying to get it further up (i do play it back some) but i seem to hook it when i do that, any reason that could be?
  9. a buddy told me today (i struggle with consitency on distance)on the backswing, take an inch for every foot, if its uphill 1.5 inches per foot and downhill .5 inches per foot, he said for average greens, but i think this would be inconsitent as well since most greens are never the same as another course
  10. 14 views and not even a laugh, c'mon folks
  11. you dont play golf rojo ... on the take-away remember "low and slow" it'll take you back slower of course but more inside closer to the correct swing plane kind of what treemagnet is saying ... take the club back to what you "feel" is 75% and be aggressive through the ball, not swing hard but be aggressive, i started doing this and my backswing no longer looks like john daly's and my consistency has improved as well
  12. i would go with the vokey wedges however i would get the 52* and 56* ... reason being you can open the 56* blade to play a higher loft if you need it, IMO those 2 lofts will be your best bet
  13. charlotte is definitely pretty but that statement was really uncalled for, its a competition and they were trying to get ahead, her goofy brother should have just simply sped up and "showed us what the enclaves would do"
  14. whoops! i should have just said carolina i guess
  15. caddyshack and tin cup are good golf movies other than that, i like "The Shooter" "Four Brothers" and most comedies
  16. im not sure i understand what the rep stuff actually is
  17. please give me tips, somebody told me i wasnt getting enough hips in my swing but i think im fine there, any tips you have will be greatly appreciated the tee box looks crappy, just rained that afternoon and the tee boxes were aereated that morning as well (local public course)
  18. LOOSEN UP!! you seem to be stiff and like somebody said, you need to cock your wrists, also you seem to reach for the ball, stand there with no club and take your stance over the ball, let your arms hang freely, thats where your hand position should be, but mainly always HAVE FUN!
  19. ashley and ashleigh are the best team (its the looks) i like the guys from SC too, im from alabama so its good to see some country boys out there
  20. i had the vokey chrome wedges, switched to the oil can spin milled and love them, i dont get blinded by the glare from the wedge when i open the blade up, plus i just like that dirty look they have
  21. thanks for the reply but im hoping to get a comparison with the hibore xl tour
  22. im playing the titleist 983K right now and its the longest club i've ever hit, even more accurate, i have played cobra SZ 400 cleveland launcher comp460 and a few different clubs, my question is how does the cleveland hibore xl tour compare to my 983K distance wise, i hit one in dicks driving range and it felt GREAT so i found one for 129.99 brand new and splurged, any help is appreciated
  23. i wouldnt mind getting some of those for free lol
  24. man i love the look, set up, feel, just wish i was guaranteed a "gimme" everytime
  25. 56 is the club for sand shots, some of my buddies take out the 60* because it has more loft, i personally think i have to swing too hard for comfort with the 60, 56 is the stick
