    Painful wrist?

Hi, after every practice, my right wrist (I'm right handed) gets very painful at the joints for a few days, it can get quite annoying sometimes that it gets painful even while making a turn while driving the car. Do you experience that? What are the reasons behind it? I am not sure, but I think maybe I am not finishing my swing properly, so the middle and 4th fingers are kind of slowing the club as I finish my turn?
  2. I'm a fresh beginner, been golfing for 2 months now. Since I sort of cannot afford a teacher, I'm focusing too much on online videos and forums especially this one here (which is great btw, kudos!). I'm basically the sort of chap who likes to build things on solid foundations, so in golf, it's almost always the driving range, 5 buckets per practice. One for the driver, and 4 for the different irons. And I basically practice once to twice per week. I also do around 1 hour of putting practice. At the club where I go to, they have a 3*PAR3 practice course. I have tested it twice lately, I'm hitting the putting green between 2 and 3 shots, but still my biggest problem is still the putting. But bottom line, the point is that working on the score in the beginning is not helpful at all IMO, because it's random, one swing you might do ok, the other could be devastating.
  3. I have one of those, and I do like 300 putts a day. But the problem with that is that you are only practicing on a straight ground, but in most real cases you are either above the ball, or below it, or you are putting downhill or uphill and hence get some problems at hitting the ball properly.
  4. Left hand (for right handed ppl) should stay well straight and flexed.
  5. A dress code is important for several reasons: 1- Patience: if someone is not patient enough to give 2 more minutes of his time to wear more properly, he is definitely not going to be a patient person on the course. 2- Etiquette: etiquette and sportsmanship are the two things that separate it from other sports. Golf requires high discipline, always fix your divots, never toss your clubs, etc. So better also dress up properly to meet the relaxing mood of the golf game. 3- There is a reason: You can't swing properly in jeans, might slip in flip flops (or worse walk in the rough or bunker with them). However, I am also with being a bit lenient with things, an acceptable snickers instead of golf shoes can be both appropriate and practical. But I'm definitely against treating golf like a trip to play beach volleyball.
