  1. I had the same problem a few months back. My alignment was fine but the golf pro at my home course told me I wasn't firing my hips through in the shot. My hips would stop rotating on the downswing once they were back near the adress position. My arms would then come through seemingly ahead of my hips, my hands automatically roll over too much and Hello, pull-hook! Concentrate on getting your hips through the zone a little faster and you'll notice the hook will turn into a slight draw. Fire your hips through even faster and you'll notice a slight fade....etc.
  2. Thanks to all for the ideas. I'll try marking them days in advance of playing them to see if that helps. I've heard that using a hair dryer to "cook" the markings on might make it more permanent but I don't want to accidentally alter the ball's structure in any way. I'm using the Callaway HX Hot ball so I wouldn't think it was a strange, ball coating issue...and I've used multiple Sharpie's with the same results. I was just hoping there was a serious marker out there that would be as permanent as the company logo is but maybe such a thing doesn't exist. I think I'll pass on the pink ball suggestion unless my man-boobs happen to grow any bigger then they currently are. heh-heh
  3. Does anyone know of a permanent marker, pen, pencil, etc that won't rub, smear or smudge off of your golf ball after 1 hour of use?? I've been marking my golf balls with a Sharpie permanent marker (like the majority of golfers out there) and it rubs off fairly easily after a short time either in my pocket or from wet grass. VERY annoying! Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Even though Tiger hasn't won as many majors as Jack has, he can pull off any shot at any time under any conditions and any pressure. No one else has been able to do that time after time on a consistant basis, which makes him the best golfer ever. Besides, the number of wins doesn't make someone better than another. What if Tiger died in a car wreck back in 2001 with just a few majors under his belt at the time? Would that mean that Lee Trevino is better than Tiger since he won more majors? No.
  5. Home Course is Ridgeview Ranch. http://www.ridgeviewgc.com/
  6. Computer geek. I write code for the JCPenney headquarters in Plano, TX. I'm working hard on my game in my free time.
