That is probably one of the most important things about lessons. Especially when i got mine done with about 2 months ago, i was frustrated with the result of the swing, but my pro told me that everything in the swing looked good and that it was one minor tweak to fix. Positive reinforcment and feedback is probably the best way to get the new swing thoughts to stick, and to help you to enjoy the lessons as it feels like you are improving.

I have it and it is great. Has a distance marking feature, has distances to bunkers and other major features on the hole. Good battery life too, doesn't run out after one round unless you leave it on. Distances can be +- 5-7 yds according to the course or whatever but usually dead on. Simple to use and you have pretty much all the features of a skycaddie on it, plus you don't have to pay a monthly fee.

HOnestly, it is all about who you know. Networking man, networking. That is the reason I got my job, because I know one of the Pros there and he knew me well enough to trust that I will do a good job at the course. Definitely go in and talk to them and make a good impression.

well i only work three days a week, and bout 7-8hr shifts so i don't feel i will get burned out quickly but we will see.

Exactly I get to get better at the game, for basically no cost at all. Plus if you enjoy what you work at the work may not seem as bad as it does to other people. Having fun while working hard. and those prices are pretty much standard as stated earlier, i talked to a few friends who work at other clubs who get the same discount.

Got my first job at my local course today, Gleannloch Pines GC. I am so excited. I am working in "Guest Services", which is basically clean carts, balls, recharge carts, and use the picker. While it may only pay minimum wage $6.55/hr, the discounts are amazing. Free golf and access to the range and handicap system. Plus say i was to buy a Cobra S9-1 driver, usually about $400 at my course with tax, my price- $207.94. BEAST. I can't wait for all the extra practice time.

I have this shaft in my driver, Nike Sumo 5000. My swing speed is about 90-100, i only get about 240-270 out of it. it could well be the shaft, I have been considering getting a new one.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought a hybrid today. After hitting all sorts for about an hour and a half i finally decided on a Taylormade tour burner 2 hybrid. I hit it more consistently than any others out there, for ex. adams, nike, ping. Hopefully it comes in handy for the 215 yd par 3 at my course tomorrow. I'm excited to use it

I love living in Texas because i can play all year long for the most part, except it gets hotter than hot in the summer. So really winter and fall is prime golf season for me.

I do eat alot, I can easily eat through 2 weeks worth of groceries in one week.

I just took a photo of my setup about 20 minutes ago and the club is about 1/2" -3/4" off the ground when i set up correctly, and the only way the club gets to the ground is if i bend my upper body more. So I'm pretty sure I will be getting refitted in another week or so. I'm not exactly sure about where to get fitted though...My dad has got a fitting from Jim Phenicie for his driver later this month, Jim is one of like ten Titleist super fitting specialist in the country or something, so i might end up there. I was also wondering about which companies have the best fitting systems like the Ping dots or Nike 360 system? or should i just go the a pro and get it done ther?

Well last summer I was about 5'10" when I bought my Nike CCi irons standard length. I figured that I was in the right height range and didn't need fitting. However now i am 6'2 1/2", and I find myself bending my knees more to get the club in the right position. My shots are not what they used to be either, they are now constantly right for the most part. My dad suggested that I go get fitted with some different angle lies and shaft lengths so I can fix my game. Do you guys think that fitting will make a difference?

I would suggest the GolfBuddy, because it gives points to other references like bunkers on the course, courses are already pre-loaded on the GPS (no downloading), no annual fees for uses of satellites. Just as good as a SkyCaddie in my opinion, cheaper too. I have the Pro version and it has no failed to disappoint.

I'm not a PT, or doctor, but I am a medical high school student who went to work at Texas Sports Medicine today. I was working with this man who had a torn rotator cuff, the PT said that most recovery times before playing golf again is 6 months, 5 if you are lucky and heal quickly. (for most shoulder injuries)
