  1. Today i am going to the Galaxy of GOlf (Golf Galaxy) and testin out the following hybrids 1)nike non sqware sumo 2)nickent 3dx dc/rc 3)mizuno mp fli hi long irons 4)maybe 909h 5)maybe SuMo Square i might also look at a 3 wood. any suggestions in that department. somthin that i can hit off the turf and the tee?? Thanks ~Chris
  2. most hybrids now can be adjusted. I think that the cobra baffler's hosel makes it easier to bend or somethin. You can probably do it no matter what, tho.
  3. what i would do is wait until the equipment issue of Golf Magazine comes out. The y have the good and bad aspects of each club. as well as good and bad feedback from testers. But it all comes down to if you like like it. In all honesty, some people just get clubs to say, "oh i have such an such club," even if they cant hit it worth a crap. It all comes down to if U not GD gives it a gold star.
  4. ive tryed all the hybrids out there, and the 909 is HOTTTT. its just too expensive for my cheap self.
  5. yep, best irons out there, no doubt. you just cant beat that buttery feel of a mizuno.
  6. we are a golf family. My brother and i are about the same HI and he has an all Cobra setup, including putter, and my dad has an all callaway setup, and he regularly breaks 80, so if you like every thing from driver to putter from a brand, then you can do what ever you like.
  7. Which line of putters do you like, AND WHY do you like them. I am hunting for a cheap one, (Ha , yea right) and need your help. 1) must be a blade type putter, no mallets 2) must be readily available, no "1 of 1000" type putters Thanks ~Chris
  8. what do the MILLED putters fell like? are they really worth like 300$ like the scotty camerons?
  9. how different will the forged putters feel ( cleveland forged, nike forged, scotty cameron)? i defintely want a lighter putter than the 2 ball or marxman tho.
  10. Played with my old set when i went to florida last month. I palyed really well. I took only my driver and wedges, but hit my old 5 wood and irons and putter. My old putter is a blade type putter, and i did really well! i came home and was hitting balls on my carpet, and realized how heavy my putter was compared to it. I really like the insert in my putter, but i want a blade type putter now. Anyone play with a white hot type putter? also any other suggestions to other good blade putters? Thankss ~chris
  11. unless you are planning to go to college and playing golf there in the next 6 years like i am
  12. is there any discernable difference in the two?
  13. im actually adding a 64* to go along with my 52 and 58... im keeping all my gaps right. The more wedges you carry, the closer you can do a full swing. It makes you more confident. (if you can hit it)
  14. do they help align the putting stroke as well? just wondering.... i saww my friend using them on the range before a round a couple of months ago,, and i thought about picking some up...
  15. yea, those new burner irons look pretty sick
  16. thanks guys... just two questions. 1) how workable is it? 2) how is the distance compared to your hybrids?
  17. Does anyone know anything about the F-60 fwy wood? i got some money and i am going to update the long end of my bag. I have my hybrid choices down to the nike (non square) sumo, or the nickent 3dx rc. The f 60 caught my eye, and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about it, or had any other suggestions for fwy woods.
  18. In the r7 cgb max hybrids, you cant move the weights, and i thought thats what the whole line is about. Why is this? ~Chris
  19. definitley try the mizuno mp line as well as the ap2's if you are looking to "grow into" a set of "better player" irons. ~Chris
  20. burner or limited edition ft-i. Both are 200 buckaroos at golfsmith... give em a try
  21. i have been told by some people that if you really like the shaft you have in your fwy woods, that you should get one cut down into your hybrid. I have also been told that if play a project x shaft in your irons, that you should stick with that. What do you all think i should do? ~Chris
  22. The whiteboards are sick... I will either try the Aldilla NV 65 green or just stick with the Whiteboard....thanks guys... ~Chris
  23. thats cool beanz it would be great if more ppl did that!
  24. it looks like almost nobody thought very highly of either of your choices...lol
