  2. Wasn't there an English guy on here documenting his path to playing at a tour level?
  3. Thanks Zippo! Exactly the type of recommendation I'm looking for. Makes it great value compared to what we have to fork out North of the border.
  4. Quick question for Washington State golfers: Heading down to see the pre-season game versus the Broncos from Vancouver, BC. My buddy and I are thinking of catching 18 holes somewhere on the way down... we are both weekend warriors / hacks... any suggestions for relatively easy playing public or muni courses worth stopping in to play? Thanks in advance!
  5. 8/10/2015: 30 hip twists Slow motion with both 1/2 and full swings. I was watching the "Diagonal Sweet Spot" videos and doing some drills.
  6. 8/8/2015 5 minutes of mirror work. Mainly impact path. 8/9/2915 Shot some fresh video to compare with last weeks footage. 7i full swings in the garden.
  7. I *could* be wrong but I don't think you are doing it right...
  8. @David in FL you are only 272 posts behind him. If you stick to your average of 2.3096 posts per week since you signed up, you'll break that in approx 117 weeks. Good luck. ;-) And well done @Ernest Jones
  9. I love to see these ads appear on eBay. I used to spend hours looking for skis (in search of old all metal race bindings), you can always tell the guys looking to "profit" from these circumstances, the adverts are often poetic: "lightly used, include boot clamps etc" when asking $300 for 40 year old skis with ZERO value.
  10. I thought you might have a latex allergy... I had a somewhat similar day on the course. Wednesday's driving range session was great, not a single slice with the driver - the driver did not behave as well on the course - but I still had a great round. I believe I actually play "stupid monkey" golf so I just need to keep training so that my stupid swing is the same as my rehearsed swing.
  11. OT, but @ nthehunt526 can you tell me more about Alina's game, PM if you like! Sounds amazing. 8/7/2015: Played 18 holes on a local course. 3 weeks ago I shot 108, today I shot 93. The smart practice is paying off. Driving wasn't great. Everything else was pretty solid - for a high handicapper - one blow up hole, par 5, put my 3rd shot into a greenside bunker... On Sunday night I plan to review the week and put together a proper plan for the following week. (Almost finished LSW).
  12. 8/6/2015 Driver and 7i slow motion drills A5 to A7 Flat wrist drills Annoyed my wife by putting for an hour...
  13. 8/4/15: Practiced my practicing. 7i slow motion work. Partial > full swings. Reviewed my new lead hand grip. 8/5/15: 75 balls at the range. Focus on the grip again. Slow motion work trying to align the impact. Flat wrist drill.
  14. Thanks Mike, and Matt. That helps!
  15. @mvmac On your advice, I'm working on getting the club into the fingers on my lead hand. I see this is your trail hand in the photo above BUT I felt like my fingers (on my lead hand) were getting pinched in the same place as the calluses on your trail hand, is that something I should be feeling? Thanks in advance... :)
