Hey guys, I was just wondering, what difference does the type of grass make when playing around the green in how the ball will reactl, what shot selection to make, etc. I've just never known the individual characteristics of the different types of grasses. Also, how can you tell what type of grass it is if it is not printed on the score card?

I am curious as to what handicap is considered a good handicap, as I have heard 10 handicappers call themselves duffers or hackers, so Im just interested in people's opinions as to where that line is that a golfer becomes "good" in your eyes. Thanks.

I like walking, because it makes me feel better, i stay more relaxed and im more likely to pick the right club to chip with. However, i will admit that there is nothing like lounging in a cart and just enjoying time spent with family and friends when score doesnt matter as much.

ok, here is my problem. I normally hit a nice inside out swing that sometimes puts a nice draw on the ball and sometimes hits it long and straight. I drive the ball pretty well, when I first start hitting, but then I get excited and I start trying to hit the ball harder and my ball starts to draw more and more with each swing. Eventually I'm snap hooking the ball out of control and I cannot help it. My question is how can I either stop getting exciting, or find a way to keep it straight when I want to add that little extra to the ball? Thanks for the help.

Im very curious to know what people think about the victory red blades versus the Titleist ZM blades.

I currently carry three Clevelands, but I want to cut it down to two as I have fifteen clubs in my bag, and I want to keep the longer half of my bag intact.

I do this exact same thing, but I also dont mind the Nike Ones and the Callaway HX Tours.

I hit the Titleist 907 D2 8.5 with a proforce shaft, and I have to admit, that I got it off the used rack but the club felt like it had been fitted especially for me and at $150, it was an absolute steal.

I've found that the bristles tend to warp with whichever direction i last hit was. It always feels misshapen to me... oh well its zero friction all the way for me.
