I'm really disappointed that my new irons, AP1. Are made in china, and the shaft is made in japan. It would been be nice to see the sticker say made in USA.

New Titleist AP2 with PX 5.5
Boeing777 replied to granitegolf's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I no i don't have ap-2, I've got g10. And i ordered ap-1 and i hope I don't have problems getting the ball up. That's my fear right now. I hit them on a machine, they felt great, i hope its not a bad decision. Good luck on your irons. -
I don't no much about there irons, but i bought there wedge. And I am hooked on it. Good looking club, checks up great, and the grooves haven't worn down any. I had a vokey and i retired it after buying this wedge.
-
Well i boxed them up and sent them back. So it's out of my hands now.
-
Look here! If your read my post i said they were a gift that was bought from academy. NOT EBAY! I will be addressing this issue with the store. And another thing, I'm not sitting on here making up a bunch of BS. I told you exactly what happened.
-
Well there is some good news, while i was there i hit some 6 irons. And fell in love with the new titlest ap1..
-
Well it's a done deal, i went to golf galaxay and took a club off the shelf. And compared the 2, and it's official they are fake. The real ones are blue and the fake ones are more of a purple color on the back of the irons and the grips are different and so are the shafts.. So.....that's that.

It's a huge sports retail store. I talked to callaway and they said they were a dealer for them.

I got a set of Callaway X22 with graphite shaft for a gift. Here's the problem there are no ser# on the club anywere. They were bought from Academy, from a different state and shipped to me. I called Callaway and they said there should be a ser# on them. Please tell me i'm not screwed. I was gonna take them to Golf Galaxy and trade them in cause i don't want those shafts. But i think i'm gonna get the shaft. And what sux they paid over 800.00$ for them.

I'm looking at the new AP-1, anyone have any reviews or opinions on them?
-
Looking to get some reviews on this devise. Please somebody give me something on this...
-
Well i can give you my opinion, I bought one a few weeks ago and here is my thought. I had a vokey, I've played about 5 rounds with it. And i just love it, i have a digger type swing, and they helped me out with it. I've hit out of the sand, grass, rough, and the grooves are still strong. The ball checks up great for me, the quality is really great. I have taken the vokey out of the bag and have no intentions in putting back in my bag. It's a 56 degree, I cant be more happier.
-
I need some help with my swing speed, it's a little slow and i would like to no what drills can help me out. Right now i swing about 92-100mph. I'm in good shape, just would like a little more off the tee box.
-
Well i got to test the sw. The ground was a little wet, so here is my opinion on the club. The type of swing i have and the bounce they choose for me i must say was right on. The club did it's job and it was everything i was looking for in a club. I have taken my titleist sw out of the bag, the Scratch sw has definitely made the team. I'm very happy with the club, and yes i do recommend this company if your looking for a sw to anyone.
-
It's the cast version.
-
I bought the 56degree its the harder metal. I cant remember if it casted or not. John, the tech guy over there said its the harder metal, like my g10 clubs. It looks to have some mean teeth on the blade. So we'll see, very excited to check it out.
-
Well i've been looking to get a new sandwedge. After looking and reading all opinions i have decided to give Scratch a shot. I ordered the sw and it just came in, looks pretty good. I'm excited to try it this weekend, so i'll let you guys know how it works out. Wish me luck!
-
I've got the titlest, i don't like it to much, so i'm still looking. I was thinking about the scratch wedge. I always seem to hit if fat more than anything. I love my utility and wedge g10, i guess cause the bounce works for me. So what do you think about the scratch wedges?
-
I'm looking for a ball for me. My swing is about 100 mph nothing fast, i like my ball to check up on the green. I don't like it to bounce and roll off the green. So guys help me out. And i don't won't to loose to much distance of the tee.
-
does the upro go show distances to bunkers and hazards? That's what i'm looking for something that shows to the front of bunkers and back of bunkers.
-
So, anyone tried both products. Looking to retire my sky caddie. I looked on the callaway site and saw both units. Just wondering if anyone has used both of them yet. And what's the difference between the two?

Tour Edge Exotics 3 wood ??
Boeing777 replied to cape cod beachfront golfer's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have both the g10 and exotics 3wood, i just bought the exotics 2 weeks ago. This is my personal experience, i do not hit the exotics 1 yrd further. I've gone to the driving range and hit both clubs, and really giving the exotics a chance to see what i can do. But it just didn't get the distance i was hoping to get. I'll be playing all weekend, so i'll be using the exotics still. I haven't gave up on it yet, i just haven't felt i got some smoking hot 3 wood. I play with a friend who has the same club and he hits it well. When i bought it, it was the last one they had and i got 100 bucks off. So i guess it wasn't to bad of a deal, i can always sell it on ebay if it doesn't make the team. -
Well, that was a pretty intresting reply. Guess i'll be working on my swing. Thanks for the input guys.
-
i have the g15 23, 20, and 17 hyrbids, and i really don't hit that 17 very well. I use the 23 and 20 the most. I just dont like the low ball flight has in my 3 wood. I cant seem to get the ball up high with that 3 wood.
-
I guess i need to update my index, it's now an 18. But i'm looking to hit the 3 wood of the tee and deck. But i've been told to try to avoid the deck because it's much more difficult. I guess what i'm looking for is an 220yrd club off the deck. Maybe that will help, i just don't get along with my 3wood.
