  1. Definately my two wedges. The combination of spin-milled technology and a Pro-V1 makes a ball check up in a hurry.... and yes i have had them creep back on me from a strong chip. I just simply love Titleist clubs, great to look at and they always perform.
  2. Try the Footjoy Dryjoys pro. These shoes are simply the most comfortable golf shoes (or shoes in general) that you will buy. Plus the added feature of waterproofing so you can play in the morning, or stick your foot in a puddle or the bank of a pond with no worries. With all the walking we do during the season for school golf, these have held up very well so far. I will buy nothing but Footjoy when it comes to shoes. They might be a tad more than 100$ but you will be impressed. Also, the GF 2's are very very nice as well.
  3. Today i picked up a Titleist 983k. I hit my dad's buddy's one last night at the range and liked it alot. And you can get them for really cheap used so i said why not. It's alot better for these tighter courses that were playing now for school golf. I was just wondering who all still played this driver. I know alot of middle-aged guys that still play this driver over the 905T and R.
  4. Heck yeah.
  5. No faith. Heres my prediction: OSU wins it all G O B U C K S ! ! ! !
  6. Prediction= Tiger A comment That Tiger made today on the Golf Channel made me admire him even more. A gentleman asked if he had heard Dave Pelz's comment in the tribune today. Tiger said "No I haven't" with a curious look on his face. The guy said "It said that Dave Pelz commented on that Phil was impossible to beat when he was playing his best, what are your thoughts on that Tiger?" Tiger said, "I'm pretty hard to beat when i play well too." with a smile on his face.
  7. Today at my home course. 11th Par 4, Great drive, had a 60yd pitch in and stuck it. When it landed it checked for a second then hit the flagstick and sunk.
  8. Another from the big O. Greetings.
  9. Not yet, I want one to replace a 2 iron. They are good for those tight courses, or when my driver game is off waiting for Golfsmith to start stocking the new Titleist 585
  10. I usually keep mine in the garage, i used to keep them in a closet but my mom got mad when she was always sweeping up blades of grass and such. I try to keep them as room temperature-ish as possible.
  11. Well if you like the blade design i would push for Mp-32s. I would have the Mp-60s allready but it's too close to school golf to try to get used to an iron set in a week.
  12. Depending on what your handicap is, a good brand to look at for irons is Mizuno. Particularly the Mx-900, those are sweet. Also the Nike Slingshot OSS, or the Cleveland Launcher irons, these all are designed for high-handicappers. They have large faces and usually perimeter weighting on the very bottom of the club, creating a club thats easier to get the ball into the air with. Go to a range, or Golfsmith (Im not sure what kind of golf equipment stores you guys have in Norway) and hit some balls with them and see what you like, ultimately, it's really what feels best and what produces the best results. Also, there are many more options as to brands and model.
  13. hmm... Yeah i'm surprised the ONE Platinum wasn't rated, i like that ball as well. Also note that the DT-solo scored higher than the NXT, interesting
  14. I headed over to Golfsmith this morning to check out some new clubs. At first i had my mind set on the R7 460 and hit it but wasn't really that impressed. Then I hit the Mizuno Mx-500 and was hooked. I dont know why, Ive never owned a Mizuno club before, and I'm kind of partial to TM woods but the Mizuno just felt really solid (and 100$ cheaper). I also picked up some new Titleist wedges. Cant wait to go out to the course and try em' out. One question... I'm new to the Oil Can finish, should I be aware of any maintenance things?
  15. Ill Be a sophmore next year.
