tough spot...maybe he would have said something himself had it been worth money to the team, I would try to give him the benifit of the doubt but I'd watch him a little closer. Bad situation.... I would tell him I don't put up with that, make sure he knew how uncomfortable you were with the situation. Hopefully that would be enough to "help" him along.

i have had the same issue, I had to over correct, hitting to Fat shots for a while before I could get it back to where I needed it to be. We have a good bit of hard pan here in Texas so sometimes you have to hit it thin if you want to hit it at all. Esp. if we are not playing the nicest courses all the time.
