1. Worked on it a bit after work, even though the days are getting shorter.
2. Awesome MVMAC! Thanks for the tips and will report back. Very thorough response!
3. Better quality with a down-the-line shot and a face-on-view. Still not a great setup but was testing my new iPhone 6s camera in the backyard net. Any feedback would be great! I know that the back center of the net isn't inline with my alignment stick and feet, sorry Videos: P.S. I'VE TRIED TO EMBED THE VIDEOS, but either the WYSIWYG has different/new functionality with the new site, or I'm doing it completely wrong. I tried embedding by "the Rules" to no avail. Also have used the <iframe> code snippet from YouTube in the "insert code" function. What am I doing wrong? lol
4. I play at RTJ - Highland Oaks, The Dothan National & Roundabout Plantation all in Dothan or the surrounding areas
5. TEST
6. I've just reached the magic number of posts to create a signature, lol...but to answer your question...nope. I carry 3-AP and took out my Cleveland 52*. Being my "gap" wedge is my 125-135 club I decided to play the Tour Edge A wedge instead because of ball trajectory and consistency and still have a good amount of backspin on the green if I want it
7. The longer irons are very forgiving, especially out of the rough. I use Driver, 3 wood and 3-wedges and tend to stay away from hybrids for that very reason. Also, I like a "meatier" gap wedge (125-130yd shot) and it a good amount of spin. I paid $150 from a local course that had them on consignment.....can't beat that!
8. I absolutely love them! There a more forgiving progressive set of irons. I was shocked....launch is a lot better and the consistency is where they really shine over my pro combos. It cut my natural draw in half but in turn gained 8-10 on each iron. Fatter black & white cord tour prides with the riffle shafts are also nice. The guy I bought them from was 6'2 and had them custom shafted. And I'm 6'2" ! Overall it compares to my love of ping eye2s. Great irons!
9. 60* & 56*, both in hand and swing (3/4 back > 3/4 follow through without stopping like pendulum)....10-12x Slide weight ring on 9 iron and do the same as #1 but stop after follow through...12-12x Take of weight, one hand on club head, other on grip...stretch arms up (Shaft parallel w/ ground) and pull on club head to stretch opposite shoulder and then pull grip side to get the other shoulder...2x both sides Same club, same outstretched arms up and slowly bring the club down behind my back with both hands still on club....only do this 1x Lock knees and bend at the hips to touch fingers to toes....maybe 2-3x Hitting/Putting balls before round: 2-3 50yd pitches with 60* 2-3 100yd full swings with 60* 2-3, 160yd full swings with 9 iron 2-3, 180yd full swings with 7 iron 2-3, 200yd full swings with 5 iron 2-3, 220yd full swings with 4 iron (tee'd up) 2-3, 240yd full swings with 13* 3 wood (tee'd up) 2, 230yd full swings with 13* 3 wood (off the deck) 4, 275yd drives 3, 3ft putts 3, 6ft putts 3, 9ft putts ...head to the #1 tee...grip and rip it! :)
10. 2 months ago - 9 iron (Nike Pro Combos, 1st Gen) Now w/ new irons - PW (Tour Edge Exotics XGC3)
11. Left the driver at home and my 3 wood kept my tee shots in the fairways, but need more practice to get used to my new Super Stroke 2.0 Slim.
12. Love the net and backdrop for swing filming idea! Recommendations on good, but no super expensive, mat & net. Thanks Hardspoon!
13. They wouldn't care about divots, if repaired but agree a chipping/hitting surface would be best. Planting more grass seeds, etc was a thought of mine for chipping, but never crossed my mind about a putting surface. And I like! I have no green thumb so any tips or advice on that would be greatly appreciated Another thing, that's genius, that never crossed my mind is talking with HOA about making the lot into a common area for the neighborhood. Only problem is that I see if that was brought up it wouldn't go far for golf related stuff. It would possibly peak their interest to throw out some swing sets, playground etc...which is not in my best interest being I have no kids and to be honest, it'd go to shit due to section 8 apartments close by. Thoughts on a net?? Thanks for the thoughts!
14. The lot is 32 paces from my property line (5 paces from side of house) to the woods....and... 23 paces from the front of my Altima to the brush in front of back fence Things to consider:

The HOA has designated this lot for "overflow" parking...as you can see my car and on occasion another car on the other end of the lot same distance from the road as mine
Nothing can be permanent, except maybe paint marks to gauge distance, mainly because it's not MY property and possibility of theft.
I cut the lot most of the time because the weeds/grass get tall between mowing by the HOA crew
Slight uphill slop from the side of my house right.
The 4-6 paces, inside of my property line is good plush grass, but the lot has a fair amount of small rock and hardpan balled spots
No one cares what I do in the lot, including the HOA.....just don't hit cars
Lastly , I have thought of a few ideas, but would like to see what the creative TST folks could think off :-) Thanks for any and all input!
15. I've been Playing Golf for: On and off 17 years....HS golf team and weekends for 6 solid years. Basically, roughly 10 year gap from 22-32 (besides 1-2x per year.) Have started playing/practicing 1-2x/week for the last 2-3 months. My current handicap index or average score is: 10.4 My typical ball flight is: Woods: Mid to High push or slight fade/slice Irons: Natural, slight draw 80% of my approach shot, other 20% either pulled 10-20 yds left of target or pushed right 10-20 yds....no fade or slice and slight draw almost 95% of the time The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Off the tee: slight higher fade/slice Approach: Block right (straight) and pull left of target still with slight draw Videos:
16. Hey now, I resemble that remark! Lol
