  1. Shot 10 over for an 82 at P.A.R. country club in Comanche Tx
  2. They were stored in a locker at my home course. Probably someone who knew who I was or what clubs I had and figured out which locker was mine. I'm about to update my sig with what I got
  3. Well after getting all of my golf equipment stolen, I'm looking to replace my clubs. As far as irons go, I have played the Ping G5s and the Callaway x22 Tours. The G5's, for me, launched too high, and the x22 Tours were almost a bit too much for my game. I can hit the tours VERY well if I am on, but on the days I am off, it'd be nice to have a little forgiveness. How are the Cleveland CG7's? and what other reccomendations for irons can yall give?
  4. played the g5's for the last 3 years. Great clubs. Smooth, easy to get up in the air, comfortable, great quality. The shot trajectory was great but I decided to switch to x22 tours. You'll love the g5's, no doubt
  5. "Mathis...has anyone told you golf was relaxing?" "yes..." "Well..they LIED! You're always going to have off days once and a while and you will always work on your swing or some part of you game. Your golf game is a constant work in progress. Even when you play good, you need to work on things" Said to me by a friends dad after I had a terrible day.
  6. The seam between the body and the face of my old FTI...ohhhh it was bad
  7. I put a = ) on mine...anything to try to stay positive
  8. Sunday I went and played Squaw Valley. There was a group of 5 in front of me and a friend. We kept waiting and waiting and finally caught them on a tee box. One turns to me and says "We'd let yall play through but there's nowhere to go. We can't do anything for the slow group ahead of us." We get out to where the course opens up more and you can see the next few holes...NOBODY was ahead of them for 2 holes. But because we were told they were waiting on a slow group we just dropped the issue and tried to have as much fun as possible, even with 15 minute waits between holes.
  9. Try hitting a few not looking at the ball or with your eyes closed. (yes I said with you eyes closed haha) When you putt with your eyes closed, try to guess how far each ball rolled. That'll give you a better feel maybe. Helped me a LOT
  10. Short game needs MAJOR improvement. Hitting my driver straighter (Will settle for slight fade) Shoot in the 80's consistantly Get our whole golf team to advance out of district.
  11. ^^Agreed. I also play Warbirds because of the softness and feel. I seem to play a lot better if I play those.
  12. Shot a stinkin 51 on the front 9 @ Par Country Club here in Texas...Stunk it up..Stunk it up REAL bad
  13. You may look into the Callaway FT stand bag. I got mine and I love it. Nice shoulder straps, more compartments than I need. I enjoy it a lot and get a lot of compliments in tournaments. Someone told me the Sasquatch bag is a little heavy, if you walk, you may check into that.
