Sandplay

Yea I only got 12 points and only lost a few places. It is there for someone to make a big move up the standings though.

I was playing a new course with my brother i hit a good drive and then 3 wood on a par 5 which left me with a pitching wedge in which i hit right beside the pin took one hop and stopped i made the small putt for birdie.

I shot a 81 (40/41) and only hit 3 greens in regulation because i was hitting my irons really poor. My drives were not that bad bombed a couple way down the middle. :) I guess all my short game practice is paying off. Now i just need to hit some more greens!!

My Goals 1. Get to a single Digit Handicap. 2. Get better then 76 3. Go to the driving range atleast 10 times i only went three times this year.

I was playing a shortish par 4 so took 6 iron off the tee to put it on the fairway got it quite far down but a bit right had about 140 metres down a hill hit an 8 iron really hard and high landed 2 metres away from the pin and stopped. My birdie putt ended up staying right on the lip and would not fall in had to tap in for par.

I shot an 85 today. I was not putting very good ended up with 34 putts. I hit 6 Gir. My driving wasnt very good again. (Only hit 4 fairways)

Par 3 125 yards to an elevated green. Hit pitching wedge way up into the sky landed a foot from the pin and rolled out a couple of feet for an easy birdie.

I finally broke 80 with a 76 (40/36) I started with three birdies on the back nine and ended up shooting a par 36. Only 5 fairways and 5 greens. Short game was on fire.

I shot a 82 (41/41) Most of my game is getting much better except for my drive which has turned in to a big slice that just isn't going away. So i was saving alot with the short game.

Hit a Pitching wedge on a short par 3 to an elevated green went dead straight at the flag dropped short. I went on to make the birdie from around 7 feet

Went out for 9 holes today shot 4 over 39. Putting was pretty good except for one 3 putt. I have been working on drawing the ball not a just playing for a slice and i have seen a huge improvement in my drives.

Yea I am diffently going to be watching. Will be interesting to see how Watney holds up against Tiger.

Haha I'm with you on that one. I'll start to play alot of golf in the afternoons now.

I took out 3 wood off the tee which i normally don't but my drive have been getting quite bad so i bomb a 3 wood and ends up middle of the fairway and as far as i could have driven it anyway i was stoked.

Ok it took me a while but this time i think i have done it right. Have a look in My Scorecards now.

Hey I would like to win a copy so all of the sandtrap can look at my stats i have been trying to find a good one since i started playing a year ago. 84 (42/42) Did not hit very much fairways or greens so will have to work on that.

Awesome for New Zealand to show some of its rugby talent to the world and even countries like kenya,samoa,tonga who are getting much better at sevens. This will only help teams like this get better.

I was playing good today drives were going straight and dropped some good putts. I was on track to break 80 but got to dark to finish 18 i was 5 over thru 16 holes (par 71).

ALOT!!!! Im addicted haha I would play every day if i could get to the course. But i think 3 to 4 rounds a week is fine.

I got my very first eagle yesterday so stoked. So I am off the big 0 eagles.

My First eagle today 330 yard par 4 i got a pretty good drive just to the right of the fairway. Next shot i chipped over a bunker from around 40 yards out and landed and rolled straight into the cup.

85 (43/42) Drives were all over the place. Irons were saving alot. Putting was average as well with 34 putts and 4 GIR.
