  1. I started my ebay listing then decided to call a golf yoda of mine about what I should do. He convinced me to keep it lol
  2. Update on promotion fulfillment. Got my golfsmith box and poped it open, got the driver out with headcover (everything as specified on my mail-in form). But there's more! Heard a little something at the bottom of the box so I tipped it up to look into it and see what it was and almost got popped in the face by some Callaway Tour i( z ) golf balls; nice bonus! Also got a 15% off a $99 or more purchase coupon for Golfsmith. Well handled promotion, fantastic fullfilment, many props to Golfsmith.
  3. If I recall they show how it adjusts in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9ArMnFCW2g
  4. In hindsight I wish I would have. I didn't think about possibly selling it if I won it untill after I won it lol But I coulda got a lot more bang for my buck (Or $0.44 postage stamp) if I would have opted for a tour model.
  5. I'm in the same boat, I've been driving myself crazy thinking about what I should get when I sell it. A driver of course being the first thing "but what else could I squeeze in" I keep thinking haha
  6. I just got an email from Golfsmith thanking me for my order from them with a ship date of today! "Total for order charged to your card =$0.00" Got an order number and everything. I'm pumped! I'm sure the rest of the participants out there should get a email soon
  7. Another long shot may be to go into a store and see if they have any of the forms laying around still, you could re-fill it and scan it to them or whatever...... just a suggestion.
  8. Thanks for the heads up! Looks like they took the automated form down and are just asking to send them an email. Can't wait till mine is confirmed!
  9. Yeah that'd be a real bummer for it to be going for super cheap... Guess I'll have to wait and see what the market is like when I get it in my hand.
  10. I won a Callaway FT-iZ 10* Reg Flex RH Driver which won't come to me for another 11-15 weeks. . . . But as a high-hc'er who is improving, would I be better off trading that driver off for a last year model of something (Cobra S9-1 M Speed Offset comes to mind ) and get a better 3-wood as well? Or would I benefit vastly from having the latest and greatest? I got into golf last year and bought a Complete set of Walter Hagen T3's (Golf Galaxy), budget clubs I know but hey they got me started. I pretty much despise going to the tee-box with the driver that I have now.... However I feel really comfortable using everything else that came in the bag, although I'm not great with the 3 wood or 3 hybrid... Any thoughts, comments, suggestions? Thanks, Shane
  11. I'm with you on this one, now we have to wait! haha I've been thinking about it and I honestly don't think it can cost them that much to actually manufacture the club so I doubt they'll be losing out on much. Plus it may create some new Callaway loyals! I know I'll be looking at Callaway golf balls next time I need some (Granted they'll be used from lostgolfballs.com lol).
  12. Yeah they did it last year with Phil and Rocco. It was for the US Open I believe. Here's the link to all the official rules and what-not. http://www.golfsmith.com/display/?pa...ith_phil_rules I'm headin to a Golfsmith today to get a form and mail it in. Seems worthwhile to me, and hey if I don't like the driver there's always ebay.
  13. Like the title says, I'm looking to upgrade my driver. Been doing some comparison shopping and have somewhat narrowed it down to these two. Any opinions or testimonials to either club, or possibly something else I should throw into the mix? Cobra Speed LD 10.5 Cobra S9-1 M - Offset 10.5 Thanks, Shane
  14. Shot an 84 yesterday...... on 9 holes... My second time on a course though, and I brought my spirits up on the 9th hole by setting myself up to attempt a long-putt for birdie, which I missed of course and three putted for bogey. But I can't complain, I'm learning and having fun and that's what it's about right?
  15. Just curious if anyone is planning on going to any of the Puma Open events this year? Would love to go but it looks like my schedule won't let it happen Cause I really want some of those Puma golf balls! (I'm a big Puma fan if you couldn't tell)
  16. Tiger brought some major recognition to Golf.
  17. No website but here's a Sat. photo: Irish Hills Golf Course

  19. I'm currently an Office Clerk for a small fencing company and am also going to college full-time (for now that is, changing majors and schools, shall see how it goes).
