  1. Having trouble deciding which clubs to get. Between AP1's, jpx-800, jpx-800 pro, and TM burner. 2.0. Need some input please
  2. Wouldn't be so bad but I just got my 3 wood about a week ago and hit it pretty well. Its not brand new so I will definitley hit the new one and keep which ever i hit better. Anyone in need of a 3 wood i will have a callaway or adams up for sale soon.
  3. After recently purchasing my Nike irons I decided I like having a three iron and decided to try a hybrid. To make a long story short I decided to look for a deal and found an Adams for what seemed to be pretty reasonable. After bidding on the club and winning I realize the club is a three wood even though it says hybrid in the description. The club is a Speedline if i would have researched a little bit I would have realized Adams doesn't make a Speedline hybrid. Sorry just realized this and had to vent a little. Good news is I will have the club on Monday.
  4. I picked up a ping g5 driver used and couldnt be happier with it and if you look around a lot of last years taylormade burners are going for around 150 for the driver and 129 for the fairway woods
  5. I just got a brand new set of nike cci irons for 299 and im pretty sure dunhams has them going for that right now so far im liking them a lot
  6. Shot a 57 today only my fourth time out in a long time and my first time with my new cci irons i hit them well even though i had 4 terrible drives.
  7. So i dropped the cash on the new irons and wow im glad i did. Gained about half a club of distance on each iron and hit them much straighter than my old burners and thios was only with one trip to the range. If anyone can find the cci's on clearence they are a good pick up.
  8. Thinking about pulling the trigger on the clubs at about five when i get off work weather permiting as long as i hit them well i will definitly be buying them.
  9. I recently bought a set of older taylor made irons not really knowing what irons i should buy. After playing several rounds and a few trips to the range i realized that regular flex graphite is definitly not for me (im a bigger guy 5'11 270). So now i stop in a local pro-shop today and see a set of nike cci irons brand new for 299 in stiff steel. They are willing to give me $60 for my taylormade set. What should i do?
  10. Thanks for the advice so should i stick it out with the taylormade?
  11. I can be cheap all summer as there is a free course like 10 minutes from my house Gotta love western pa haha
  12. His cleveland has the stock fujikara shaft i think its yellow and my taylor made has the stiff shaft
  13. Went to the driving range again today and hit almost every club decently. My biggest problem is the 5 wood, i have a new 08 taylormade burner and for some reason the club gives me fits. Every third or fourth swing, i will hit the ball solid and about 200 yds. I would attribute most of the mistakes to my swing, but my friend has a cleveland hi-bore 5 wood which i hit consistanlty solid shots with. Out of about 7 balls i had 1 bad one with the cleveland... Any help would be appreciated.
  14. I've only had my nike bag for about 2 weeks but so far i really like it. The bag overall is really light, the shoulder straps are great and the pockets were really well thought out in their placement.

    Excited

Picked up a used ping g5 driver on monday finally got to go out to the range and hit it. At the pro-shop before the range session i also picked up a taylormade burner from last year. So at the range i was hitting the ball amazing with the ping...better than any other club ive hit. Although all my old clubs were my grandpas hand me downs from the 70's. The five wood i didnt fair quite as well with hitting a lot of them very low to the ground and off to the right. All in all for my first time out in about 2 years i was thrilled and am definitley on the virge of being hooked.
