  1. Thanks for the info guys...
  2. yeah, i have mid-size on my woods/hybrids and reg on my irons. The mid-size does feel a lot better to me. I can't honestly say i notice a change in my game. so for me, it's a matter of comfort.
  3. Has anyone had the opportunity to hit both of these irons? I've demoed the 32's and they're absolutely great clubs. Was just wondering what the main performance difference is b/w the two. Thanks...
  4. I would definately try out a Sonartech. I have the NP-99 in my bag and absolutely love it. Very high quality, solid feel. You could probably get it at a fairly decent price now as well.
  5. 4 wedges for me. 47, 52, 56, 60. Extra wedge benefits my game more than having the 3 iron in the bag.
  6. that's too bad. 975 is a solid driver. only replaced mine about a month ago. Not sure what you're looking at as far as drivers go, but the 983 is still a solid club. for a little more the 905 series is definately worth a look; and neither should set you back $300 :)
  7. Welcome! So, a fellow 24 yr old IT (for the government no less), golfer eh? hehe. good luck in your club championships.
  8. I carry a 48, 52, 56, and 60. Having 4 wedges benefits my game much more than an extra long iron would.
  9. i concur. my irons were made in 1986. good ole spaldings...
  10. 20 oz bottle of gatorade. use the ring that detaches off the cap. here's where i saw it. worth a try... http://grouchygolf.blogspot.com/2005...golf-ball.html
  11. yeah, that would be quite a jump. I just recently went from a 975jvs to a 983k. For me it's working out great. Did demo some 460's (905r, SQ tour, r7), but like you, just didn't like the look. Decided on the 983 and have no regrets.
  12. a fellow J-VS user and in Hawaii as well eh? What are the odds? :) yeah, i've looked at the 905t as well. I'll be doing more reading up on it here this week. I guess i'll just have to go down to Roots and see if they have all these in stock.
  13. Would this driver still be worth getting? A lot of people i talk to seem to mention this as the best driver TM had made. I'm in the market for a new driver (currently use 975 J-VS) and this was one i was looking at, in addition to the 983k. Tried a handful of 460 drivers, not real crazy about em. Just not for me, prefer the smaller head sizes. Thanks in advance for any and all the reponses...
  14. i second this. Sonartec MD is an absolutley great club.
  15. Hello all! Just recently came across this site. Seems to be a rather good community. Till next time...
