Before I practice with the driver I take 3 clubs out and swing them back and forth for a min. It helps gain a tiny bit of distance for me and it also helps me not to grip the club too tight.

I struggle with the driver and putter,im going back for more lessons so hopefully i can get a handle on everything soon.

I did have trouble at first and I was planning on getting rid of them but I just started practicing more and more with them and they aint so hard to hit now...

well I just got back and it got alittle better,but not good enough for me...I talked to the instructor up there and im going to schedule some more lessons next week to see whats going on with my swing.

Ill be leaving shortly for another practice session and working on the driver for the most part so hopefully i can figure it out today before I play this weekend...Ill post the results when i get back, thanx for the tips guys.

so Ive really lost control over my driver and fairway woods lately and I think its because ive been practicing mainly with my irons which have improved a ton,but now when i take the driver out its a mess. Im not sure what im doing wrong but its a strong hook to the left that goes about 150-175 yards...im using the R7 limited and ive tried changing the weights around but it doesnt help and i can see the ball marks on the center of the face...im really confused because before i started working on my iron game i could hit the driver just fine.

did u hit the 62's? just curious cuz im debating on the 57's or 62's and my handicap is pretty close to yours and im struggling alittle with these 67's.

they really arent as bad as everyone makes them out to be but I still struggle enough to wanna switch over to the mp-57's or 62's.

i just bought the 67's because I got a really good deal,but I knew i was going to have trouble with them...im going to sell or trade them for the 57's though.

I have a pretty big basement so I usually just put a trashcan at the other end and lob practice balls into it,for putting I just bought a cheap auto putt return from dicks sporting goods. I would really like to buy one of those driving mats and nets to put in the garage but the weather has been decent enough not to force me into buying anything just yet...

oh well I just won a set of MP-67's in way better shape for $280

I just bought the Never Compromise gm2 exchange putter and I love it,but its all personal preference...

the TP version is 1 degree open and have 2 other shafts to choose from,the standard has a .5 closed face angle and comes standard with the Matrix Ozik 5.5 shaft.

since you like your Sumo driver,have you tried the Nike Sumo 3 wood? you can pick one those up for around $100 NEW...

I liked mine at the driving range but as soon as i got on the course it was a different story,because I didnt trust myself to take a full swing when i needed to which ended up being extremely short of the green...but with enough practice I think they can come in handy.

I thought the 07 Burner is 45 inches and the 09' was 46.25"
