I saw OG listed in the guide and yes, it's not far from me. I may have to try that one out. Although I've only been there once the course that really impressed me was Quarry Ridge over in Portland.

Well, I ordered a Cobra bag in blue but, when it arrived I realized I screwed up and had ordered a cart bag... DOH. So, that one went back in the box and to a storage shelf in the garage. Seeing that I had to order another one I got the one in black and yellow to match the headcovers.

FWIW... It's not really a "golf" place but, before my wife was laid off from the place last week she bought me a bunch of golf shorts and shirts from Macy's that were on sale. The shirts are a Greg Norman line and the shorts are Izod XG.

The one I was referring to is Sunset Hill in Brookfield. Not a bad little course and not a par 3 course either. I prefer 18 Candlewood Valley in New Milford though.

... and sometimes can be found in Florida. Hello everyone. Nope... I'm not that good at this game so, I don't keep score. I have no idea what my handicap is... I think that's a trick question on the sign up. LOL Anyway, I haven't played that many courses in CT although I DID get a membership card at my local club... I guess I had to, my daughter works there. Most of the courses I frequent are in Pinellas County FL but, I do drag the clubs along with me instead of leaving them down there.

A Grumpy old farts VS Grumpy old farts story..... At a Florida muni course there was a foursome trying to "push" our threesome. We couldn't go anywhere as there were two foursomes (that we were aware of) in front of us. We were just finishing up and walking off the 10th green when this ball comes flying in smacks our golf cart and ricochets into my daughters leg (she just got into the cart) and of course she screams out loud in pain. The cart was parked away from the green, on the cart path at about an 10 O' Clock position if one was making an approach to the green. It's a dogleg right over water so this should have been a wedge shot to the green. I have no idea why he cranked that hard and that far left..... Anyway the guy catches up to us at the 11th tee and apologizes stating "Sorry about that, but I wasn't aiming at you". My buddy snaps back "Oh, I KNOW you weren't aiming, I can see your golf game isn't THAT good". We continued on leaving the guy standing there dumbfounded.

I've got to get some labels... I've been known to leave a SW at the edge of the green on occassion..

I played my first 9 hole course up here in CT about a week ago... in the rain. It was a light rain at the time but, I played better than if the sun was shining. We basically had the whole course to ourselves too. The other two that were on the course quit after four.. LOL.
