  1. My pals and I never hit off artificial turf, we consider it cheating. It's fine if you want to pratcice the driver, but for irons its worthless. Invest your time better on real grass. When I am on the course, I turn everything off. The only thing I am focusing on is my golfswing and making clean contact. When your on the pratice range, memorize your hand and feet placement. Memorize and burn it in. When your on the course, don't hold back and trust your swing. I have a friend that just started and it's hard for him to "trust" his swing. Go into the swing knowing your going to hit a great shot. If you don't, shake it off and repeat the process. A great attitude goes along way to good golf. Peace g's.
  2. That's like buying a BMW and slapping a FORD badge on it.
  3. What? Nobody else wears the Adidas Zebra Print Golf Cilmacool Thongs? You get a bag of free tees with them.
  4. Exactly...........................Be careful when you buy on ebay then sell to a shop. They will give you pennies to the dollar, another words, you won't get that much on a trade-in. Best to buy from a shop, you would get close to full credit on playability promotions.
  5. Didn't you already start a thread about Nike OSS? Looks like you want them, get them. Some golf shops give you a 30-90 day playability. If you don't like them, take them back for a credit.
  6. Manu, my friend has the OSS and they are good clubs for the weekend hacker, meaning somebody that plays for fun now and then. The OSS feel like woods when I hit, plenty of distance but less feedback. Iv'e been in your spot before, researching to death but you can't go wrong with the Taylormade OS2's or something similar. Better to just go and demo different ones in an open environment, not a closed in shop.
  7. Stick with Steel...more accurate and control.
  8. For high handy's, I would recommend these: http://cgi.ebay.com/TaylorMade-RAC-H...QQcmdZViewItem Even the OS2. Taylormade HT's are extremely easy to hit and high launch angles. The R7 XD version have stronger lofts, so it MIGHT be a tad harder to hit. Just my opinion.
  9. It's probably obvious who my favorite is, sure he is a horrible putter but I like his energy and approach to the game. The guy is having fun out there and cracking jokes, hitting on women in the sidelines, lol. Yep, he gets heated at times, but who cares. Have some emotion. I was a fan after watching "The Battle At Bighorn" Viva Sergio.
  10. I have a Black Adidas Golf Bag, I got really sick of seeing my Taylormade Bag everywhere on the course. Now, I'm hard pressed to see an Adidas bag at all around the courses I play. Japan may be another story.
  11. TaylorMade Golf Pride Tour Velvet .580
  12. Pay with Paypal when using Ebay whenever possible. If your equipment turn out to be fakes, you can get a refund almost 100% of the time, just explain the situation.
  13. TP Drivers...don't you know chicks love the logo?
  14. I would keep the 54 and 58. I really recommend a 52.
  15. You lose approx 5 yards when you cut 1/2 inch.
  16. Well, went to the range where I hit off grass not mat, your suggestion helped but still thinnned apprx 35% of all my shots. Anybody else with a suggestion?
  17. So I had some Taylormade OS2 and liked the trajectory and the distance (Everything Standard). Then I bought the R7 CGB because they felt absolutely solid and got them fitted at my local Golfsmith. They did 2 things. 1. Cut 1/2 inch from the shaft. ( I am 5'7 and my wrist to floor measurment is 31) 2. Changed my lie to 2 degrees flat. Now here is the problem...I'm hitting alot of shots thin (line drives). I remember I had similar problems with the r7XD, so I took them back thinking it was because it was a smaller blade-like club. The CGB MAX is a bigger, more forgiving club...still, I have difficullty getting balls in the air. Is this because they have stronger lofts? Can my CGB MAX irons be bent so that they are lofted similar to my older OS2's? Is this defeating the purpose of the CGB's?... It's very frustrating hitting balls thin when I never had that problem before. I don't want to get rid of the CGB's...I cant take them back. Perhaps practice makes perfect, but again... I have a problem I didn't have before. If anybody can point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it.
