  1. Hmmm. I would get e5+'s but they're two piece and they're supposed to fly higher. I guess I'll decide between the e6+ and e7+ whenever I go to the store.
  2. Well, my shaft is 46.25 inches. I know it's long, but I don't really have much of a problem controlling it.
  3. Ya I wish the e7+ was urethane cover, but maybe it's good it isn't since I have really no money, so they'll last a little while. Let me know how you like the e6+, I'm looking at those too.
  4. I wasn't saying I'm a good ball striker. I want something less forgiving so I have to get better, not just let the club do all of the work. I'll probably end up with the pocket cavities though.
  5. I've found j26 cavity and pocket cavity on ebay for under 400. I also found blades for 400. I might get the blades if I have enough money, that would make me improve my ball striking.
  6. Hmmm. I'll have to see what I can find. I want those j36's so bad it's not even funny. Yeah they have stock project x shafts. My dad will understand if I need to borrow a few bucks to get them.
  7. Lol I'm tryin'. slowly gettin' better.
  8. Ya well the tees don't bother me, it's the hole in my shoe that does. But, whatever, the hole is filled with silicone now, so no water is getting in there at all.
  9. Preach it brother, preach it. Couldn't be closer to the truth.
  10. Well, if I can't get the j36, what's good for less than 200?
  11. Ok so after my birthday, I'm hoping to get some new irons to replace the Tommy Armour knockoffs I'm using. I'm hoping to have enough to get these: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...273502.2273503 I've seen these for 700+ dollars, so I really hope I'll be able to get them before they're gone. Would these be good irons to improve my game and ball striking with? If I can't get those, I'm also looking at r7's, and if I don't have enough for either I was thinking these might work also: http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/nicken...ite-steel.html But, I really hope I can get those j36's, If I'm short 150 bucks or less, I could probably get my dad to let me borrow the money for them. I want those sooooo bad! Anyone use them? I'd like to hear your reccomendations as well.
  12. I would say to get a 460cc and work at it. I mean, 460cc is more than plenty of room to hit a golf ball. You shouldn't have any problem hitting with any driver out there. If you go to Dick's, you can find some really good drivers for under $150.00. That's just my $0.02
  13. Yeah that makes sense, but I'm gonna give the e7+ a try. I'm not saying a ball is gonna make me any better, but it could help. I mean, if the ball didn't matter, why would the market be flooded with so many different kinds available? Not saying you're wrong, you sure know more than me, but I'm gonna get a dozen of these and really work at my game.
  14. Okay, can anyone please tell me if this ball is pretty decent around the greens? Is it pretty good in terms of spin and sticking on greens? I'm expecting a lot, since I can make the slazenger's I'm using check and stick when I need to. I'm probably gonna get some in the next few days.
  15. I expect to make putts under 6 feet, and I usually do. My putting has really improved.
  16. Yeah, I practice at least a few hours every day, but not at the range. I can't get to the range that often, once every week or so. But, I practice a ton in my backyard with plastic balls. My grandma has a camper that she goes to every few weeks and there is a little 9 hole course there where the longest hole is I believe 130 yards. We're going there I think August 5th. It's free golf, so I'm hoping to get some practice in with my short clubs.
  17. Ok, so I have a terrible short iron game. It really is where my strokes come from. I am oppisite of most people who have iron struggles. Most can hit 7-pw good, but struggle with the longer ones. While, for me, I can't hit my 7 or higher consistently at all. I always pull up and blade the ball. I mean, for god's sake, I have no problem hitting a 1 iron. Don't put it in my bag, but I can hit it good. So, my question is, does anyone have any tips or drills to help me stay down on the ball with the shorter clubs? Thanks.
  18. If it's a little far down, my 3 wood. If it's sitting up nice, my 5 wood. If it's just buried, then my 3 iron.
  19. Anyone else hate tee boxes that are just littered with broken tees? Played 18 with my dad Tuesday. Yesterday, I notice their is A BROKEN TEE speared through the bottom of my golf shoe, al the way through except the very pad inside. Luckily, my dad just filled it with silicone so it won't let water in. But I mean, wtf???? Anyone ever had this before? lol

    no glove?

I wear a glove. I really need to start remembering to take it off when I putt. Lol a lot of times if I do take it off, then I end up teeing off then remembering to put it back on lol. My uncle is an amazing golfer, and doesn't wear a glove. He could probably have been proffessional golfer if he had been more serious about it. I mean, he only gets out a few times a year as it is. Last yer I went with him and it was the first time he'd been out in I think 5 years at least. He has outdated clubs, except for his driver, which is my old burner. It's amazing how litle he golfs, yet is still a single-digit handicap. Oh yeah, he doesn't use golf shoes either.
  21. Ya I've never even been to any event. I live about 30-45 minutes from Akron, so I hope one day me and my dad can go to the Bridgestone Invitational. Tickets are 130 for all 5 days this year. Hopefully at least once I'll see the world's best do their thing. Now that would be amzing to see at least for me.
  22. I have the 07. The only real differences I see are the shaft weight, dual crown, and more triangular shape. Some may like it, but I like a perfectly conventional head. The triangular and square heads throw me off.
  23. Well, you have room for 3 more clubs. So, I'd reccomend getting a 3 wood, a 5 wood, and most importantly a sand wedge.
  24. Okay, I have a $10.00 gift certificate for Dick's, it came in the mail from scorecard rewards. Just gotta get 20 more bucks somehow, lol. I still owe my dad 100 bucks for my driver haha. Hoping if I get these they'll help me stay out of the real high trees, always losing distance cuz of the tall trees.
  25. Now, I wouldn't generalize like that. Right now my handicap is around 30-ish and improving. However, I don't struggle with chipping one bit. Hell, a lot of times I can stick a flop shot close to the pin. It's my short irons that kill me every time. It's like, "What the hell? I can hit a godforsaken 1 iron, but can't hit a 9 maybe half the time!" See my point? Just because someone isn't a single digit handicap doesn't mean they suck at everything, it's usually one thing that really makes their strokes pile on. For example, my dad and I usually shoot within 10 of each other any given day. I hit my driver, woods, long irons and wedges good, whereas my dad is a better all around irons player and putter, but struggles more often with his driver than me, and avoids his woods and sand wedge at all costs. So you see, not everyone struggles with the same one thing. Though my putting is improving a ton lately . Sorry for rambling, just wanted to get my point across.
