  1. Here it is, still feels weird but getting used to the fact it’s a drill and not a proper full swing, I felt like I lost control so was worried. How important is finding a trigger btw, do all pro’s have one? I’m struggling to find one.
  2. I am doing that in the video, they are newspaper wrapped in sellotape 😂, even they would go into the next door neighbours yard. I'll keep trying I think.
  3. Ya I can only film hitting a ball or makeshift ball from that angle. I’m sure it’s a good drill. I’m probably just not getting it. I have an awful problem with fat iron shots (my biggest miss). I feel with this drill my weight gets back more than ever.
  4. 4.5 on the up and an 11 launch angle seems good to me
  5. This should say my left heel is lifting not my right heel. I cant seem to edit the post
  6. Day 10. This is the first drill I’m really struggling with. For the past year or so I’ve been trying to stop my hips swaying back on the backswing by doing the wall drill recommended by Erik. My right heel would lift off the ground and I would get all my weight on my trail leg. For whatever reason this drill seems to make me sway back again(maybe it’s supposed to) I don’t feel comfortable with it at all. I see my right foot lifting again etc. I also found it hard to find a trigger, the best I could find was a slight forward press of the club. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying there is anything wrong with this lesson, I’m just struggling big time with it
  7. How far do you drive the ball mate? You look like you generate a lot of speed.
  8. Im no expert but your club is still getting opem on the downswing, you are not palmar flexing properly i think. I believe it should match your spine angle again when club is parralel to the ground, i stand to be corrected though
  9. Day 9 complete. I don’t have an alignment stick so I use an old shaft. This really works the core too.
  10. I don’t see how left hand low would have you less centred it usually squares up the shoulders and has you more centred than the other way around. I can’t see it making the stick drill more awkward. A proper pendulum would mean it doesn’t matter which hand is lower because you go back and forward the same amount I would have thought. I putt left hand low too.
  11. I agree 100% about North Korea, Iran and China. You wouldn’t believe a word out of any of the governments of those countries
  12. I'm not sure how accurate mine was, id like to practice my stroke silently and have some one match the metronome to my stroke to get a really accurate reading.
  13. Thats a super dog you have 👍
  14. Thanks pal
  15. I just went on to the worldwide cases overview, I was shocked to see the US has over 400000 cases, I knew they were getting hit hard but that blew my mind, China only had 80000 cases with a population of a billion plus, their draconian measures might be an idea for the US
  16. Noted, I would have assumed it was "hmmmm interesting" while rubbing your chin 😂
  17. Plenty of experts are behind the flatten the curve movement too so you'll always have a minority of experts who have an alternate and possibly valid opinion. My brothers live in Australia where they have only 50 or so deaths since the first comfirmed case in late january. Their schools and creches are still open so as not to have parents landing their kids on grandparents etc. It seems to be working for them, however I personally think warmer climates dont suffer nearly as bad.
  18. Not sure about that, the more that get it at one time the more hospitals are overwhelmed and the more lives are lost that might not necessarily have been lost. You cant completely isolate older and vulnerable people no matter how hard you try. In theory what he is saying would work but unfortunately unless certain people are locked down so to speak they will not heed warnings to stay away from yhe elderly etc. Thanks guys. She'll be fine, she just was one of the unlucky ones who got a more severe case. She's doing well in hospital, we are hoping to get her home in the next few days👍
  19. Day 8. Never done anything like this before. So wasn’t sure what tempo was right for me but it’s somewhere between 82 and 86 bpm I think.
  20. When this all kicked off in China I never really thought it would get so widespread, now my Mrs is in hospital for the last 3 days and has tested positive for this dreaded virus, my two kids and I have to self isolate for 14 days, I had to drop her to the hospital door and leave, she is showing some signs of improvement but won't be getting home yet. She is only 35.
  21. Day 7 practice this evening really enjoying these drills. Whether I am doing them well or not is another story😂. Watch the catch at the end 👊
  22. Regarding the first bit, ya I like it quite forward. More than most people like this. Too much? Regarding the 2nd part, I'm not worried so much about the flat wrist more that the clubface is not parralel with the lead forearm, its a little closed. Is that ok?
  23. Id drop the 3 iron, how often do you even need to hit it let alone work it both ways, I'd certainly find a lot more use for a 51 degree than a 3 iron but i dont know your game. I personally took my 3 wood out of the bag, I hit my 5 wood far enough to use it on holes where I dont use driver and I hit it almost as far as a 3 wood off the ground so I decided I have far more use for 4 wedges than a 3 wood. I play Driver, 5W, 4H 5-pw and then a 47, 52, 56 and 60. (My pw is 43 or 44 degrees)
