  1. Play Lido, an old Charles MacDonald links style course on a barrier island, not far from the city, classic links redesigned by RTJ, here's a link: http://•••••••••••••.com/course/lido...lub_long_beach
  2. Play Breckenridge, a great muni by Nicklaus, probably the cheapest and best in the area, not far from Vail, here's a link: http://•••••••••••••.com/course/brec...b_breckenridge
  3. Hard to believe, but it would be Minneapolis in my book. You have to catch the course in the summer, which is only about 6 weeks, but a great collection of golf in and around, here's a link to some of the better courses there: http://•••••••••••••.com/course/loca...ty/Minneapolis
  4. Have played it and enjoyed it immensly, especially the holes along the Firth, but otherwise just a well groomed links style of course. I prefer Prestwick about 15 miles north, a more natural, rugged, quirky course where the Open was born. It's worth a trip if just for the contrast. Have great fun! Cheers
  5. You have to try In Celebration of Golf, it's an excellent golf shop, very upscale: http://www.celebrategolf.com/
  6. Thanks appreciate that, Mission Inn looked intersting, thanks for the heads-up
  7. Like RTJ SR, dislike Desmond Muirhead
  8. Planning a golf trip-1 week, in Orlando in the fall and trying to determine the best courses to play. Have been using ••••••••••••• to find only the better courses, and they have listed Orange County National, Reunion, and Mystic Dunes as the top ones. Here's a link to their list: http://•••••••••••••.com/course/loca...L/city/Orlando Are there any other courses not on their list I should be considering, thanks in advance for your help.
  9. It would have to be Royal County Downs in Northern Ireland.
  10. Have you played Crown Colony out in Lufkin, here's a link: http://•••••••••••••.com/course/crow...ry_club_lufkin
  11. We Ko Pa, Wigwam is an old classic, Troon, Grayhawk to name a few
