I went out today to the range, and noticed both your points, even before i read your post. I fixed it, and it seems like i got more depth in my shots. In addition, i think i was more consistant today with those 2 factors fixed.

I tried to not stand over the ball too long today, and it sometimes worked but sometimes doesn't.
when i stood over the ball today, i thought of these 3 points:
1. Keep my head still
2. Transfer my weight from the back foot to the big toe on my front foot.
3. hold the follow through to test balance
it seems like standing over the ball for a little while thinking of these points helped me today.
Im trying to get a constant setup, making sure that i am in the same position everytime. Any tips for this?
