  1. The Penta TP is coming out this fall but I believe that the TP Red/Black will be still sold. You can take the example of the Pro V1. The 2009 came out but shops are still selling the 07 version.
  2. The Vokey Spin Milled wedges are only available in mid bounce for left handed players like us. The 56.14 is the high bounce option and the 60.04 is the low bounce option which is only available to right handed players.
  3. You should go for the Vokey's. I own a 54 (bent to 53) and a 58 and think they perform beautifully on every type of shot. I don't feel the need of adding another wedge as gaps of 5 degrees are enough from PW to SW and from SW to LW.
  4. The TP is less forgiving and more workable while the r7 Limited is more for the fairly skilled player. I tested both the r7 Limited and the R9 and didn't see much difference between the two apart from the fact that the Limited flies higher than the R9. The movable weights is also a nice touch to finish a great product if you can get over the triangular shape of the head.
  5. I think you should probably replace the 60 if you have no confidence in it. the Vokeys are the best wedges available so i think it's a good idea to replace your wedges with those. I have a 54 (bent to 53) and a 58 Vokey wedges. i only have two wedges because i have a bigger gap between the 3W and the 3i so i need to buy a 2H
  6. I bag a 3W but rarely use it as i often find my self laying up on par 5s. The only time I use it is for a long uphill par 4 at my course where I hit 3W off the tee and 3W to the green. I have a 3 iron and will buy a 18/19 degree H to fill in the gap between my 3W and 3i.
  7. I tested the Cameron Kombi and a Bettinardi BC but I ended up going for an Odyssey Sabertooth. The Kombi felt a lot better and the BC and it seemed to be more forgiving. I saw myself drain a lot more putts with the Kombi and the alignment marks helped a lot. I went for the Sabertooth because it was a lot cheaper than the Cameron.
  8. A blade or player's cavity will usually launch lower because it's designed for players who get a ballooning ball flight with gi irons. A blade is also less forgiving and more workable, so it's the right club for good ball strikers and those who shape the ball a lot. Player's irons also have shafts (Project X or Dynamic Golds) which are designed to hit the ball lower.
  9. I'm a high school golfer like you but a new club is not going to help much as you'll still struggle. It would be better for you to have a few lessons with the pro at your club and see what's wrong with your swing. A more forgiving driver can help therefore a square head would be a good choice.
