  1. same as above but in groups 3/4 i would go Cink/ Clark
  2. Anyone try to brew their own beer? I've been reading online and am interested in trying it over the winter.
  3. What Ross course in Boston is 8 dollars?
  4. Next year sets up great for him. Last time they had the us open at Pebble he narrowly won by 15 and the open at st andrews is almost an automatic win for him every 5 years it would seem. I think he played decent last time the PGA was at WS like 4th he finished maybe but dont quote me and hell always be atleast in contention at Augusta so I see him getting 2 or 3 next year.
  5. classic: donald ross modern: arthur hills least: Geoffrey Cornish
  6. quaker ridge is quite a fine track do you still play there now?
  7. i was collecting pencils for a while but got out of the habit no I only grab ones from the best courses.
  8. third hole at wannamoisett, it serves as the picture hole for the donald ross society so you know its good. 135 yard small green surrounded by deep bunkers, a hill left and long and a creek right.
  9. ive played pga national and doral blue, white and gold courses. the blue monster was my favorite out of those 4

    Eagles?

I started out eagle-eagle in practice for my high school a few years ago. 1 is a short par 5 about 475 yards and I knocked it to 10 feet and made it then 2 is a par 4 about 380 i hit hybrid and 52* out of the right rough into the hole. I was a little disappointed when my 2nd shot didnt go in on the par 4 3rd lol.
  13. Ive played far corner i thought it was pretty nice layout. I forgot to mention Pleasant Valley, i don't know how i forgot that one.
  14. I'm from Seekonk. Favorite courses in MA that I have played are CC of New Bedford, Duxbury Yacht club, Wyantenuck CC, Red Tail GC, Blue Hills CC, Pine Hills (Nicklaus course), Fall River CC (Half the holes), and Farm Neck on Martha's Vineyard. I play mostly golf in RI though.
  15. A few years ago the usga started giving the NCAA champ an invitation to the US am, and also the publinx if they are eligible. Also having it on your resume will get you into about any invitation field in the country. And the US am runner up even gets into the masters and us open for the following year if they remain an amateur.
