  1. I have Golfshot, great software but price ($30) is more than what most would want to pay for an iPhone app.
  2. Four dozen Bridgestone e6 balls at a Sports Authority on Black Friday for half off! Woohoo!
  3. Box of Bridegstone e6 to replace the NXT Tour. Me like!
  4. I've been hit by not paying attention to my surroundings when I first started out. I was walking off to the right looking for my ball and a friend set up to hit his ball behind me. I thought I was safe due to the angle I was walking. Stupid mistake. I was about 50 yards ahead of him and he hit a middle iron, shanking it to the right, hard right. He yelled out my name (we were all new) so I turned only my head around to look back. I noticed the ball coming at me at waist level and I had just enough time to brace for impact before it hit me dead center in the right butt cheek. It hurt but, to my surprise, didn't leave a lasting mark. He now knows to call out the proper word because it could've been ball to face contact.
  5. 98!!! First time in the double digits! 50 front, 48 rear.
  6. 101....Getting sooooooooo close to breaking into double digits!
  7. Bushnell 1600 Tournament Edition. One sweet piece of hardware.
  8. 106. Much better than my recent posting of 117 and 120. Felt much more comfortable with my swing by going out on the course more often than countless balls at the range. 2 mulligans kinda helped too.
  9. 120, no mulligans. 117 last week, some mulligans. My shots off the tee have been decent, it's just my short game that is really killing my scores. Guess I know what I should work on at the range.
  10. I'm fairly new too. When I first started, I picked up a stand bag which was good for those short holes. Then I bought myself a pull cart and rarely carried my bag. The stand bag didn't fit on the pull cart too well but it gave me the option to carry it if needed. Then, just recently, I purchased a cart bag with a push cart and I'm glad I did. My cart bag can be pushed around if I want to walk or it will fit on the cart if needed without the pesky legs getting in the way. Sun Mountain does offer a bag that does both. So, I would vote for cart bag with a push or pull cart (depending on your funds). I think a poll would be beneficial for you.
  11. That's a great video. The fact there is an instructional video on how to properly throw your clubs is awesome! I just hope I never have to do it, clubs are a lot of money.
  12. Just came back with a BagBoy 2009 Revolver cart bag. I'll have to give it a round or two to see if I like it.
  13. I take mine on the course but on vibrate so it doesn't bother anyone else. If the phone rings multiple times from the same person, I would probably pick it up to find out if it is an emergency. I always keep it on me and use it each hole since the phone has a golf GPS program to track distances and scores for me and anyone else I have programmed. Sure, I could use paper and pencil but the program can keep track of more things than a scorecard can and it's quick. I embrace new technology and will take advantage of it but also keep others in mind.
  14. A whole new set of of irons, a fairway wood, a hybrid, a putter, two gloves, and a marker/tool combination. It was an expensive day yesterday.
  15. I voted 2 to 3 years. Went out to a course with some friends just over 2 years ago and used someone else's clubs to see how I liked it. It was fun and so I bought myself a cheap starter set. I only played at a course and went to a range no more than a handful of times a year up until just a few weeks ago. Now it's range time on many of my days off from work and just bought a new set of clubs, something I can improve my game and grow into. Just took several lessons and got fitted for my new clubs. I'm excited! Now the waiting game. This game really is fun.
