Yes sir. I feel your pain. The problem is confidence, over swinging and fear. How to fix it? Go to the range and tee up 10 balls in a row. Now put 10 on the ground in between creating twenty in a row 10 teed up 10 on the ground. Hit one with your 7-iron using that smooth butter swing, then immediately grab your driver. using the SAME swing hit a drive out there a little way and grab the 7-iron. Focus on keeping the swing smooth and efficient, using your body, not your hands to create speed. Keep doing this until you would trust that driver with your daughters honor on a friday night. haha
2. Let me tell you a story. I came to the ninth hole of a nine hole match all square. My competitor hit his drive about 285-295 right down the center. I topped my drive rolling it into the right trees just past the ladies tees. I hit a low cut out of the trees that left me hitting my third shot from 215 to a small bunkered green up the hill. I hit a perfect shot to about twenty feet and made the putt for par. My competitor hit his approach from about 155 just off the green and three putted. Giving me the match. The Moral? Always believe you can make par no matter what happens. Don't try stupid shots, but try and make par however you can. Good luck sir.
3. I have had a wedge and cell phone stolen. Get a Dunlop putter cover from Walmart!
4. Thanks man, but I'm no Julia Child, She is awesome! Good luck on the course Tomorrow!
5. Very good explanation Zeph. Teeing the ball lower may help players hit this shot with the driver, but I think it's best to try and work the ball from a pretty high tee. The reason we get more distance from A draw or power fade is because we are hitting the ball and releasing fully, creating max clubhead speed and control by using our natural golf swing. When the dude above you (Calboomer) hits the fade as he is describing he unintentionally holds off the release by swinging out to in relative to his body. When anybody on any shot holds off the full release that player will lose 5-15 mph. And at about 2.5 yards per mph with the driver nobody wants to lose 15-35 or so yards by hitting a normal fade... Unless you need to slice it, then you have to but you get the idea.
6. Exactly! That guy above you needs to read my earlier explanation.
7. Don't know where yet... Hoping to find somwhere cheeeeaaaap! I want to get a job there but they say they are all full.

11. Yeah, my best score on the D from the tips is 67, the Arlington 66.
12.
There is no reason to believe he doesn't generate the power he claims with what he has shown. Look at the obvious things (angle between hips and shoulders, nice release) in the swing and it's clear he isn't BSing. Not much anyways.
People always say I'm swinging so easy until they see where the ball went.. LONG
13. Your swing isn't "Perfect" but it has some great positions and you don't over swing. My guess is one of your strengths is your long iron play. Mine is my tee shots and distance control with my wedges. Good Luck and try my putting drill, it has taken me from a hideous putter to a lights out kinda guy.
14. Same for me, Keep the faith. We can get there we just have to keep working man!
