I agree. Our coach had a clause. "If you are a senior and you can't play in the top 5, you won't be on this team" Thats how my high school was as well.

I have shot a 62 once, which was like 10 under, but that was on a hack golf course where you could hit sand wedges into par 5's and drive some of the greens :) so that doesn't count. I htink the course rating is like a 67 or something :) My lowest Competitive round was a 4 under 67. I did that in a college tourney. I have shot a couple 69's and I 'think" a 68, but those are the best I have done in competition.

I played 4 years at the University of Evansville in Indiana. Anyone else play? Thanks

I have 05' for the PS2 and I love it. Haven't played it in a while, but when I do its addicting. I agree about the low score stuff. But thats fun to do :) I like the fact that you can make your custom golfer with facial features, body build, etc... I tried to replicate myself :)

I used to play in the Nike Winternational Junior Series when I was in High School. That is why I was down there the other week because my cousin was playing in it. I played #4. Shot an 88 :), which is kinda surprising given my swing up above, but it was my first time since October, so.........

I'm really surprised many of you don't think Tiger has one of the best swings. He might swing a little hard at times, but man, I love his positions and posture.

Aw geez, I'm gonna get burned on this one, but my fav is still Tiger Woods. However, I am a big Fred Couples fan and I like Phil Mickelson alot too.

I have figured out that part of my problem is my hips. They are not square at setup (they are open). My squaring them up, I can make a better turn away from the ball and come down on a related plain.

Well, I have never had a legitimate hole in one. I was playing in a college tournament 2 years ago and during the practice round, I pulled my first shot, dropped another ball and made it. Too bad it didn't count. I think if you make 1, its luck. More then that, its skill. Some pro's have like 25 or something. Thats unreal.

Ok, I am going to go out on a limb here as I did not see any "best score" type threads. I have 2 rounds that are my best. One is my lowest score, the other is my best round :) Round 1 - Lowest I shot a 64 at Pebble Brook Golf Course in Noblesville, IN where I used to work as a cart boy (I am 24 now btw). It was an 8 under par round and I had 2 bogeys. http://www.pebblebrookgolf.com/South.htm It was nice because I started out with 4 straight birdies :) Round #2 - Best Round This was at http://www.harbourtrees.com/index.cfm?ID=92 I shot a 65 with 3 bogeys (6 under par). I consider it my best round because the course is harder. Hell, I won the club championship 2 years ago on it with scores of 78 - 76 - 76. Granted, the course wasn't THAT hard, I just played bad. However, those are by far my greatest golf scores ever. At that time, I was playing to a +2. That was about 2-3 years ago.

Well, this looks like a very nice forum. Glad to be here. My name is Bryan and I am the owner/creator/designer of Major Championships (see signature). Its not live yet, but it will be in a couple weeks tops. Anyways, I stumbled across the Sand Trap looking for some other golf blogs/sites. I immediately became a fan. My site won't have a forum like this :), but its nice to have one to come to. The golf bug has really been itching my ass this winter and now I am craving it. Anyways, a little about me. I am currently about a 3 handicap but thats a little awkward because I didn't get to play many tournaments last year (due to a full time job and getting married) so my handicap didn't really get updated. Anyways, played all 4 years in high school, helped my team with 2 state championships (1998 - 1999), received a partial scholarship to play at the University of Evansville for 4 years and had a career scoring average of about 77.5. That was in 2003. Anyways, thats a little bg info on me. Glad to be here.
