  1. Yeah I have an old MP32 6 iron and that has the number etched into the ferrule as well (dug it out and checked it yesterday) The Mizuno rep is in fact one of the staff at AG, when I called back he said "well I fit for Mizuno" so he isn't a "rep" so to speak LOL
  2. Cheers, I got another Nike driver in the end, with a stiff shaft
  3. Ok bloke has come back to me and given me is AG club card number and his full address, with the purchase and delivery dates, so I am now satisfied they are genuine, but a few pics just so I can be 100% These are what he sent me
  4. Well this rep does work for American Golf LOL When you say Hosel, you mean on the ferrule? as that is where the only number I can see in the pics, nothing on the hosel other than the "grain flow forged" The serial number he gave me is the one etched onto the ferrule of each club. I think they are legit so have bid on them
  5. Got the number off the ferrule, spoke to my local Mizuno rep and he said Mizuno do not put serial numbers on their irons, the number on the ferrule is the build number apparently. Anyway this guy bought them with his American Golf club card so I have asked him for this number as my local AG shop said they could print off a copy of the receipt, that will be as good as it gets
  6. Had this mail back from him (I mailed him asking him for pictures etc) Hi Ash, thanks for your mail. I understand your concerns, but I can assure you these are genuine. I'm not a trader or in this to make money, I genuinely made a mistake when i bought them. I used to have MX-25's with stiff graphite shafts, and so when i ordered the MP-52's from American golf I just ordered the same spec but steel instead of graphite. I just struggled with getting them in the air! I havn't kept the receipt, as i am an American Golf card holder so my purchases are recorded that way. John at American express Telford was the salesman. I've just taken some photo's which hopefully will help. The grips are golf Pride, but have the mizuno logo on also, which makes them look a little different to standard golf pride. Many Thanks. He also sent me some more pics which I will upload when I get home. I have also asked him for the serial number.
  7. As the title says, watching these MP52's of Ebay, need to know if they look genuine or not? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mizuno-MP-52-I...#ht_500wt_1156 The grips are meant to be GP TV but cannot tell from the pics, also there seems to be a serial number on the ferrule, do Mizuno do this? I have asked for more close up pics and asked if they are genuine and if he has the receipt from American Golf. So will post the extra pics as soon as I get them (if I get them) Fake or Real?
  8. Am I missing something here? WGR is based on points = Lee Westwood is now world ranked number 1, mathematically. Is he the "best" player in the world = No not IMHO. So then WGR is as it says, Lee Westwood is ranked number 1 in the WGR but no where does it say he is the best golfer in the world, I thought that was pretty obvious...
  9. I have this and paid £79 for it, not sure how much they are in the US? I have used it for a few rounds now and it is ace
  10. How about the "all swing weighting is done with lead powder and cork down inside the shafts so its not visible to the eye." Is this right?
  11. Aye yes I know that the shafts and grips are extra, I am getting shafts Dynamic Gold £120 or KBS Tour £140 4-PW and GP TV .58 round for £2.93 each. I am also going to price it up with Ping for re-fitting with stiff AWT shafts.
  12. Hi Guys, I am looking at costing changing to new shafts for my irons (Stiff) I have spoken to a club maker where I live and he has costed changing each shaft in my irons (4-PW) at £15 a club, this includes... "removal of old shafts - trim new shafts to match my orig spec (+1/4") - fit new shafts and grips and re-swing weight back to original specifications" I asked how he would re-swing weight as I did not want any ugly shite stuck to my club heads He said "all swing weighting is done with lead powder and cork down inside the shafts so its not visible to the eye." Is this right for adjusting swing weight and how would this not come loose? He also said that I need .355 Taper tipped for the Ping i15's, is that right? Thinking I may just order a new set direct from Ping in my spec with stiff shafts and then sell mine, may work out cheaper?
  13. Great driver, I still have my old one.
  14. Yep these get my vote, worst ever and the 3 iron looks larger than my hybrid!
  15. Don't think Mahan should feel bad for duffing that chip, why should he when other people also lost, and played worse than he did in the Foursomes and Fourballs? As said he was up against GMac and when he holed that put it was all but over. I don't think Mahan will feel too bad, he is straight up guy and knows how good he is (one of my fave players on USPGA I might add) As for Tiger, I liked the roar he got form the crowd when his name was called in the Opening Ceremony, that made him smile, something I saw more of during this RC, he seems to be smiling more and more which I think is a good sign he is starting to enjoy his golf again. Plus 8 under par after 15 holes in his singles match is some play
  16. Just wanted to say well done to the USA, I thought you guys were gonna kick our asses today, 6 matches won with conviction. Well done to the whole USA team. Also wanted to say Wahooooooo! to Europe, nice to have the Ryder Cup back in European hands. What a Ryder Cup that was
  17. Her are vids of each hole http://www.rydercup.com/2010/europe/...ideo/index.cfm
  18. It sure is, I had my last look at it last weekend when playing one of the other courses at The Celtic Manor, Par 5 3rd green on The Montgomerie course overlooks the 2010 course, you should see it with all the grandstands, giant screens and hospitality tents etc! This is from Poulters Twitter page, from the 2010 clubhouse overlooking the 18th
  19. We just had the good news here in the UK for The Masters as well. Sky Sports will be showing all 4 rounds + The Par 3 Challenge on the Wednesday LIVE and all in HD. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...391495,00.html
  20. Yep, see my thread "No more carrying for me" Mine is also due to back pain and shoulder pain and I am 35.
  21. I was just agreeing with the fact that I only use my 60 from the sand, I also know pleanty of high handicappers that are great using a 60 as well, but for me it is a sand club
  22. Yep I am staying at my mothers for the first few days, as I need a bed to sleep on my own (kids taken up all the beds in my house) so that will be nice, first time I have been there for more than one night since I was a kid Then the good wife will be looking after me, which I will enjoy big time; as it will do her head in that I cannot help out with the kids for a couple of weeks
  23. This Motocaddy S1 Lite Push Cart and Ping Frontier LT 2010
  24. Same here, only use my 60 from the sand.
  25. Ditto, I have PW (46) and SW (54) so a 50 would be GW for me, but don't have the need for one as I just hit a cut down PW
