I shot 80 once this year and 81 a couple of times...79 is very elusive for me.

For me, the greatest Hole-in one is the one 2 weeks ago from my 10 year old son. At the Harvey Penick Golf Course in Austin, he hit his 3 wood on the 3rd hole and it hit the green and rolled to back pin position. As it was rolling I told him it could be a hole-in one, then it just dropped in the hole. We were quite excited, then I was quite bummed, I've been playing for 20+ years and have never had one...oh well!

Some how I knew someone would say that, that was the first thing thought I thought of.

I took my kids out on Christmas Eve and it was 42 degrees and very windy. I'm not sure I would do that again. We had a grat time and I'm sure that they won't forget that experience. I hit one shot shot w/ a cross wind that probably still hasn't come down yet!!

My wife surprised me very much and got me a putting mat for inside and a Garmin Approach GPS. She did great!

49, been playing off and on...mostly off, since I was 12.

It's hard for me to justify a $100.00 on a round of golf. I rather play 4 times for less money.

Today is the anniversary of Payne's Death. He was one of my all time favorite PGA players. The only PGA tour event I ever went to was the Houston open in the eighties. I followed him the entire day, before the knickers. It was incredible watching him hit those long irons. Rest in Peace Payne , I know you are watching over all of us.

I agree... it should be about the team not the sport center reels.
