  1. hello..... I had been reading about the H4 on this forum, and it looked really interesting so I bought it recently. I had no problem connecting to GPS about 10 days ago in my neighborhood course in Singapore. However, when I took it to the course yesterday, it did not connect at all. It would try to locate the course for about 10 - 20 seconds and then revert to the Select format screen. Anyone else have this problem and figured out how to solve? I searched up online and it seems to be a regular issue with the H4. The GPS on my device didn't work, what should I do? – Shot Scope V3, G3, H4 and ProLx+ If you are at the course and the device fails to get a GPS signal after starting the round then please follow these instructions: 1) Hold the top left button down for 15-20 se...
  2. It's finally arrived! Will dig in, hope it helps my game as it has for so many here!
  3. Yes... hard to believe that happened. Zalatoris had quite a wild round, an eagle, then birdies and bogies galore.

  5. Thanks @Shindig I have actually been a relatively silent lurker on the site for a year now, and have learnt a lot reading up the threads. Trying to put them into practice... journey from range to course is decidedly harder than I had anticipated!
  6. ok there was some issue in the link to ebay, sorted that and have ordered. Shipping to Hong Kong is 18 dollars, but what the heck 😬 . Now the wait!
  7. Hi I'm keen to buy this book after reading about all the good things people have said about it. However I live in Hong Kong, so am not sure how i can buy it. The ebay link on the LSW website doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks!
  8. Yeah I'm trying to reduce the flex on the right leg so that i can flex the left more and get the shoulders down... it's feels almost like turning a corkscrew. My hamstrings are really tight due to a history of running, so they doth protest too much when i rotate. Thanks again for your comments!
  9. @iacas checking in with an updated video. I tried to incorporate some of your drills ,and my ball striking has shown immediate improvement. Long way to go, but for newbies like me, I'll take whatever I get 🙂
  10. Thanks for your reply Erik! The day 2 video is exactly my problem. I'll work on the drills you suggested. I'll also go thru the entire 30 day series that you have so kindly created, there is lot to learn there.
  11. Hi everyone Its taken me a while to post my swing video and I look forward to comments. I've been Playing Golf for: 1 year My current handicap index or average score is: NA My typical ball flight is: slice for driver The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: I have a chicken wing problem, as evident from the video of my front swings. I seem to do Ok with irons, but my hybrid and woods are terrible. Thanks in advance for any and all comments/suggestions. Cheers Subhro
  12. Thanks Snapfade and Kevin! I've been a bit pre-occupied with the virus situation lately, but i will post my swing video soon and fish for some comments. Stay safe!
  13. Thanks for the welcome,@pganapathy and @dennyjones! Advice taken onboard, I need to spend some time trawling through this site. I'll post a video of my swing soon and look forward to the comments!
  14. Hello everyone! I'm Subhro, a newbie golfer based in Manila. I'm left handed in everything I do (I play squash and I also play the guitar), but when I decided to learn golf a few months ago from an instructor, he advised me to learn right handed. his logic was that the left arm is the leading arm for right-handed players, and given I'm strong on my left, it will help to get more power in my swing. I guess time will tell if that's true because it does feel a bit unnatural. My current battle is with topping the ball when I play my irons. I seem to be fine on the driving range, with most of my shots getting up in the air. But I have been on a golf course twice so far, and my second shot after the tee is always a struggle. Hope to find some good advice in this forum to help me cure this! Looking forward to sharing my golf journey with all of you here. I'm 47, so a late starter, but never too late to learn anything, or so they say!
